And holy SHIT is SBMM turned the up to 11 on my account.
When I was at my buddy's house and played on his account, it was amazing. Simply because I forgot what it was like to not sweat my balls off just to not get annihilated.
I do pretty decent at cod, my KD on BO6 is 1.34. On his account (which was like a 1.01), I went ~ 45 and 6 on the first match, then it evened out to like 35 and 15 after the sbmm adjusted.
Now that I'm back on my account this morning, I'm back in the same fucking sweat infested unemployment lobbies. I can't fucking stand this shit after I've seen what the other side is like. It's relaxing. It's casual. It's fun.

I often watch established creatives on platforms like YouTube, such as The Futur and Will Paterson, and I greatly admire their expertise and the work they produce. That said, I recognize they are seasoned professionals with years of experience
This leaves me wondering how to bridge the gap between where I am now and where they are. Would pursuing a university degree in a creative field be a worthwhile investment? I've encountered mixed opinions, some suggest that everything you need to learn can be accessed online, while others argue that a degree lends credibility and opens doors to better opportunities
At the same time, I’ve read concerning stories about the challenges designers face, such as being underappreciated, asked to work beyond their scope without proper compensation, or being undervalued by clients and studios
I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance, particularly on whether formal education or specific courses would be beneficial for someone aiming to grow in this field

So much had been going on with me. I got a new job in my new hometown. I lost a tooth due to an infection. And a million other things. I was depressed for a bit, but I am getting back to my happier self.

So I understand pretty well how the constant speed prop ( piper Seminole) works, but one of the things I’m struggling to grasp is how exactly it improves efficiency. Like struggling to understand why we would want a higher pitch for cruise flight, why we would want a low pitch for takeoff. Like in my brain, I keep asking my self, “why wouldn’t we want max rpm at all times?”
Like I know how to use it and how it works I’m just struggling with the “why we have it”

I had a diagnostic meeting today, and beside the fact it was terrible, I went nonverbal, had a breakdown, and was made feel dysphoric, they told me I'm not autistic. I literally am. I know I am I'm not stupid, and multiple people have told me I am. I don't know what to do or how to feel. I literally sometimes feel disabled because of my "autism", that I apparently don't have, and now I've been told in my face that it's just some bullshit and I'm fine. I feel like all my experiences aren't real, and I can't function or cope just because. I've been feeling a part of the neurodivergent and autistic community for a long time and it was important for me, to know it's okay and I'm okay. I felt comfortable. But I feel like a part of me was dismissed. And my hyperfxation, the love of my life, is apparently not even real. All the strong emotions, feelings and behaviours I've been experiencing aren't real. I feel alienated from common neurotypical spaces and now I'm not even neurodivergent. I don't know where to go or how to feel. Now, I can't even get any help that'd help me with my autistic experiences that makes literal functioning difficult. It was important for me. Identifing with autistic culture made me feel better. And now I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm sorry for so much negativity. Also writing this in a lot of emotions. Please take care.

2024.11.28 12:59 Tornado31619 Nia Jax has been taking too many losses recently
People say Liv Morgan has looked weak, but considering Nia’s supposed to be a monster (albeit more fleshed out than she was during her first run), I don’t think I can justify a single one of the losses she’s taken this year (besides the Rumble, for obvious reasons). I’ll rank them from most to least justified:
Rhea Ripley (Elimination Chamber) – don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Nia should have pinned her or otherwise won the title. But while I get that the hometown hero valiantly defending her championship in a singles match is likely an easier sell than diluting the field with four extra competitors, I still feel like Nia crashing through the chamber door (or something to that effect) would have done more for everybody involved, especially as she would go on to win the WWE Championship later in the year. Like I said, however, this is the result I’m most sympathetic towards, so we’ll leave it at that.
Bianca Belair (Raw): this is a weird one, because the finish was necessitated by Jade Cargill’s withdrawal from WarGames (otherwise I’d have had Nia win this advantage match). I’m still not entirely sure how Bayley assisting Bianca one time undoes the last four years, but I’ll accept the premise. Perhaps it would have been more effective if Nia had been a bit more protected up to that point…
Liv Morgan (Crown Jewel) – I don’t really know the politics behind resurrecting the champ v champ format this year, so if it was purely a showcase event, then it goes without saying at this point that Liv’s a bigger draw than Nia. I totally get wanting to end the night celebrating Liv and Cody. I, personally, would have booked Nia to win, but in isolation, there wasn’t anything truly damaging about these losses. If Gunther can lose multiple times in a few months, then so can Nia. There just needs to be a point to these losses, and I don’t think there has been for her.
The rest of these matches, however, left me scratching my head.
Bayley/Naomi (SmackDown): this is somewhat premature, because we don’t know just yet if the subsequent #1 contender’s match between them will factor into a Naomi heel turn, but at the time, I couldn’t understand why they didn’t run a triple threat at Bad Blood. If the outcome was always going to be a one-on-one, then why not have Bayley pin Tiffany? Was it to show that Nia was a hypocrite when she then blamed Tiff for the loss? This is the first result on this list where I’m affirming that Nia outright should not have lost the way she did.
Becky Lynch (Raw, last woman standing) – I wasn’t sure how to rank these final three entries, because I don’t think any of the matches concerned should have happened in the first place. However, this one makes it on first because Nia at least didn’t suffer a pinfall loss. I don’t think Becky and Nia should have interacted again after Day One, especially given that Nia ended up losing at Elimination Chamber anyway. I loved their Day One match in particular because of the finish: Nia breaking the Man’s face once more. Seeing as Becky missed the following week’s episode of Raw, extending that time off until after Elimination Chamber would have given her a reason to doubt she could beat Rhea, as she had never gotten the chance to rematch with Nia. And if Sami Zayn couldn’t beat Bronson Reed one-on-one before (or even after) dethroning Gunther at WrestleMania, would it really have been problematic to have left that loose end untied? All that reigniting the Becky-Nia feud accomplished was showing us that creative had absolutely nothing planned for Becky and Rhea.
Naomi (SmackDown): okay, so they were trying to get heat on the Judgment Day by involving them in the finish. Right, whatever. But if Tiffany was supposed to be the face in this programme, why not allow her to be screwed over instead? Why damage Nia’s aura on weekly TV?
Liv Morgan (Raw): I have no words. Sorry, I don’t care that Nia was distracted by the brawling at ringside, this was an absolutely bone-headed booking decision. Liv cheated to win the title anyway! If they needed a de facto #1 contender’s match, they could have picked anybody from Damage CTRL as her opponent. Was Asuka still around? Iyo? Pick one of them.
I appreciate that I sound like a mark sticking up for one of their current favourites, but it’s no secret that limiting these guys’ losses helps keep them over. It’s why Bronson Reed has suddenly gotten big, and also a big part of why Rhea Ripley is the biggest star perhaps on Raw full stop. If you rewind a year, Nia had HUGE reactions. She’s still over, but her heat has taken a bit of a hit since the spring. Crowds tend to be more invested in her matches than they are in the woman herself, which is a little disappointing considering where she was when she first came back.
