2024.11.28 11:43 Impressive-Two2828 Advice on how should I choose my VCE subjects and VCE in general

I am currently doing headstart at my school for year 11 (I am in year 10) and I have chosen my subjects: English 1/2, Methods 1/2, Specialist 1/2, Biology 1/2, Chemistry 1/2, Chinese SL 3/4
I want to eventually do dentistry hopefully at Melbourne University through the guarantee graduate degree pathways program which requires a minimum of a 99 ATAR. I was wondering what scores for sacs and the exam I need to achieve this and how doable it is as I am a current B or B+ student.
I also want to change to Biology 3/4 as I feel if would be better in the long run (year 12) as I will have very demanding subjects like Specialist and Methods. Unfortunately my school doesn't recommend it as they prefer us to only accelerate 1 subject at a time. I also have chinese to consider as I heard it gets very time consuming and considering I am the only person who hasn't ever gone to chinese school or tutoring I feel like I have a lot to catch up on.
I also want to keep my options open in case I don't make the ATAR and am considering doing the UCAT. But feel like most universities don't require that for dentistry.
Questions:

1. What scores for sacs and the exam I need to achieve this and how doable it is as I am a current B or B+ student.
   
2. Should I do Biology 3/4?
   
3. Should I do the UCAT?
   
4. What are some tips for both Chinese 3/4 and Biology 3/4 (or any other subjects)

Who won according to you guys in the stand off?
Definitely Jack imo, someone saved her. So she gave her everything to keep her word. But anshida on other hand, didn't want Manjari to go through. For no personal reason. It was definitely her moment to do something, she wanted to show presence after everyone telling her that she's being inactive.
And next morning - Muthu, Vishal, Shiva and the likes are appreciating anshida. I agree that she deserves appreciation for being so strong and having conviction in what she's doing. But somehow this Muthu insinuates that anshida was above Jack and Jack played cheap by not being understanding of anshida's situation. I don't like anshida holding it against Jack too. Both were playing and better player won and I respect Jack's decision to stand all the way too. Massive respect tbh

Oh mighty master race, I heed your support.
As the title say I'm a newbie - I'm trying to do something easy (replacing my battery), but I found myself in a bit of a pickle.
Base info: I'm replacing a RC30-0270 battery in a Razer Blade 15 (mid-2019). My previous battery looked rather pregnant when I took it out, and my warranty is as faded as the Babylonian Empire.
So, as per usual razer blade advice (I read this everywhere), I bought myself a battery on amazon (I tested it, it's working), but when I went to install it, I found a problem.
The connector works just fine, here's a picture. But the tape is so close to the connector, that I can't really slide the cables under this piece, here's another picture.
So I'm thinking: is this just a matter of removing the current tape, buying myself some themal tape (like this one) and wrapping it a little futher from the connector? Is this a solution that seems reasonable?
I'm doubting myself, I don't have much experience.

Tipo eu tento motiva-la a estudar comigo a fazer algum curso (que em sua maioria e de graça) mas parece q ela não quer, bem e já tem um tempo que eu sinto uma vontade avassaladora de mandar a real na cara dela, mas tenho medo dela não achar bom e não engolir e virar a cara, eu só quero o bem dela, quero que ela alcance o sonhos dela, que ela alcance a tão desejada faculdade dela, mas se ela não se esforçar, vai ficar onde está, ela só pensa em jogos, música, namoros e etc, ela e a uma garota maravilhosa, incrível a melhor amiga que eu pudia ter, e como sua amiga sinto que devo fazer ela acorda para vida, parece controlador da minha parte, tentar forçar ela a seguir oque acho certo, mas só quero o bem para ela.
