I need to upgrade the memory's laptop to an additional 8GB (total of 16GB). I'm trying to find the make and model that's already included with the laptop but to no avail. I don't have the laptop on me yet, but in the meantime that's all the help I'm trying to get. Does anyone know what's the memory that comes with this laptop model? Also, can I use any SDDR4 memory or is the laptop limited to specific brands/models?

So I was mentoring students (as full stack developer) and there was space to fill by creating team's opensource project available on GitHub.
And at first sight my idea was to create maybe a more sophisticated version of passbolt by keeping the MVP and adding more features that are "missing" in projects like these.
And the student's dad (who is a developer) called this a lame idea since Google is already offering this functionality and "it's 100% secure".
The first inspiration about this project was for the students to learn advanced GitHub functionalities and focus on agile working since this project could be managed via Jira, Slack, Github.
What would you do if you were me?

Hey Guys, I[25M] made one post a while back where I was seeking advice regarding my situation back then.
[For context, I was ditched by my gf[24F] 1.5 years back and it was a ~3years long relationship. I loved her unconditionally because of which I am still not over her. We're no longer in contact but I would say that I still love her the way I used to do back then. I don't have any female interaction as such and hence I couldn't find anyone to replace her. I do feel like I should find someone to take her place completely]
Now the thing is, I have got an offer from a Bangalore based startup which is a very good offer but they are asking me to relocate to Bangalore plus the work load will be too heavy. My ex is in Bangalore as well and as I mentioned I'm still not over her, I think it won't be easy for me to settle in Bangalore. There’s literally no one I know there and I'll be all alone. I think the loneliness will start frustrating me and I won't be able to concentrate on work.
I know you all will say focus on career and job is important etc. I know all this but still I feel my mental state would not be that good to give my best at work. Plus I'm already in a great company with a good enough package. It's just I want to switch to that startup for more learnings and personal growth.
Should I accept it and ignore whatever will happen or prioritise my mental state and look for other opportunities outside Bangalore? I feel one day I'll have to move to Bangalore as after sometime the opportunities and package I aim at will be mostly available there only.

 | Bonjour à tous ! (ceci est mon premier post Reddit 🫣) J’aurais besoin de conseils pour venir à bout d’un papier en fibre de verre à motifs salle d’attente de médecin que j’ai dans presque tout mon appartement ! J’ai entendu tout et son contraire, y compris lors d’un cours chez Leroy Merlin. Je ne peux plus le voir en peinture 😉 Je suis propriétaire, débutante + en bricolage. Il a été (très bien) posé sur du plâtre, mes murs sont en béton. J’ai tenté de le décoller (mes poumons s’en souviennent !), c'est hyper long et le plâtre vient avec. J’ai essayé de le mouiller, de le chauffer au pistolet thermique pour faire fondre la colle, ruen n’aide. Je ne cherche pas forcément à l’enlever à tout prix, je veux bien le recouvrir mais comment ? L’enduit tiendrait ? (On m'a dit que oui), le recouvrir de fibre de verre lisse ? (On ne verrait pas le relief au travers ?). Bref, en attendant je vis dans une salle d’attente et l’attente est longue 😉 Et bien sûr je n’ai pas les moyens ni l’envie de le faire faire, le but c'est d’apprendre. Sur une des photos on voit un petit trou dans un angle, là il ne semble pas y avoir de colle, je fais comment du coup ? My mom had 2 boys before she had my little sister. My mom was homeless at the time ,she left her at the hospital.
I remember crying in the shower after my mom told me she left her at the hospital. I just wanted a sister and not the brothers I was left with. I would've happily traded either of them for her. But now I don't know where she is. Or if I'll ever meet the little sister I wished and dreamed of. Or if she'll ever want to meet me.
The adoptive parents cut off contact after a few months with my mom. At least that's what I've been told. But even if I ever find her, I won't have those years with her that I desperately craved. I wanted to see her grow through the years, I wanted to be there for her. But I never had the chance.
She won't know the streets I grew up with. She won't know the things I loved in my adolescent. The things I wanted to share with her. The places I wanted to take her.
And I can't help but scream at the powers that be. The one sibling I hoped for was taken before I even got to meet her.
I can't fault my mother, she was in between a rock and hard place. She wanted her child to have a chance. Even if that chance broke her first child's dreams of having a little sister.
But I can't help but feel like a little kid who can't find their little sister in a crowd. I wanted to hold her hand but we were separated before our hands could make contact.
And it makes me so sad I couldn't hold onto her hand before she was gone. One day she was carried by our mother, the next she was being sent states away.
I feel as if I'm constantly grieving someone I've never met.

Hi everyone, I am new to using these tools and wanted to ask for some advice: trivially I need to create VMs on GCP compute engine, then automatically generate files containing environment variables (.env) and then I need to run inside the vm some Docker containers already defined on a docker-compose.yml. What is the best tool to automate this flow?
Currently everything is done with some bash scripts, however it should be redone in a more "modern" way.
Someone told me that it is enough to just use Ansible, others told me that you have to combine Terraform and Ansible. I honestly am confused.
What do you recommend for this purpose?
