I'm new to Home Assistant and just ordered Home Assistant Green. I’m planning to set up a wall-mounted display in the center of my house, but my Home Assistant Green will be located in a closet down the hallway with my router.
As someone who is just getting started, what's your favorite tip/trick that you wished you knew getting started? I'm hoping to end up with a layout design on the display like the one that thekabootler made, and I'm trying to understand the ecosystem and options for setup.
Any guidance is appreciated!

Alrighty peeps, picked up the game a few days ago & not been able to play it yet. Whenever I open it, I just get black screen then it eventually closes. Tried using the Vulcan beta, different protons, holding it upside down- nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated, cheers

Hello fellow 3D-ers!
I was wondering if anyone here uses a 3D scanner, and if so, are there any particular ones you'd recommend?
I'm trying to design a sniper spring mag from the original battery operated one, and while I have a calliper for all the manual measurements, I was wondering if a 3D scanner would be useful to come out with a skeleton design and then I just modify the design?

My ex’s mom was a very sweet lady who treated me almost like a daughter. I definitely miss her but obviously she reminds me of her son. After I broke up with him (even though I still loved him in that moment, I just realized he did not love me in the same way), his mom and I were still in touch via messages and instagram.
After a few months, and a few brief check in messages in between, I realized it was too hard for me to still be in touch. I politely told her that for my healing process, I need to not be in communication with her but I appreciate all the love she gave me. She said she understands and hopes our paths cross again. Then, I didn’t hear from her for a month until a week ago.
She sent me a reel that said ‘send this to the most beautiful kind hearted person you know’, out of the blue and randomly.
I had mixed emotions when I saw that. A part of me was happy that she was still thinking about me, made me feel special like I did mean something to someone in that relationship at least. She loved/cared for me whether I was her son’s girlfriend or not. I responded by saying thank you and that I hope she’s doing well. She left me on seen.
What does this mean?
