I respect the itch for League because Arcane got me messed up, but I still hope she gives Guilty Gear another shot. Especially because I feel like she'll be playing 2XKO when it comes out and Guilty Gear Strive skills carry over best to that game out of the popular modern fighting games. Obvious bias from a guilty gear player and I'll still watch whatever she ends up playing, but it was fun seeing her get coached by a goat like Diaphone.

 | Hey, I live in Canada and thereās a canada post strike going on atm which is why I chose DHL. The package arrived at my town on Friday and has been āscheduled for deliveryā without any follow up āout for deliveryā on any of the days this was mentioned. The website has stopped saying the delivery is scheduled yesterday and it doesnāt seem to be showing up for today either. Iāve never had any problem with DHL at all with regards to this until now. I tried calling the Canada phone number for customer service but I couldnāt get past the pre recorded bot messages no matter what I tried. What do I do in this situation? So this started a few weeks ago and has been weighing on me. Our district has taken the stance of managers donāt get to 96 hours in a pay period they use PTO or Flex to get you there. I was at 94 so they charged me 4 hours getting me to 98. We already donāt get paid for anything over 80 but then being charged PAID hours to fulfill an UNPAID hourly requirement seems borderline suspicious/illegal. For those non managers or managers that havenāt done this math this is how it works.
Letās do the math of manager hours vs a regular work week for normal people
Manager hours-standard work week hours = extra hours per week x weeks in year = total extra manager hours/ standard work week hours= weeks we work for free
48-40=8 x 52= 416/40=10.4
Rough overtime estimate for OT comp we arenāt getting
~$35(maybe avg manager pay) x1.5 (OT)= $52.5x416=$21,840
So 416 hours that we should be paid about $22k. Just to put this into the perspective of the time and money weāre missing out. We give the company an extra 10 UNPAID weeks of our lives each year that we arenāt compensated for. Has anyone spoken with an employee rights attorney about whether this is legal? Can we get a group of people in individual states that can bring a suit against the company for this where we can finally work 40 or actually be compensated for the overtime? 4500 managers shouldnāt have to do this weekly.  | With all the shady stuff going on in the world it's nice to think about retro gaming and let the world fade away sometimes. Since it's a day of thanks in the USA what are you thankful for in the world of retro gaming? If you're not in the USA feel free to chime in too. For me, besides great memories gaming, I'm thankful for the escape and for perhaps the 6 button genesis/mega drive controller. As for the game part of the question it's without a doubt one of the Mario party games. It's easy enough for non gamers to pick and balanced enough for them to have fun with it. Unless you're like me and the competition spirit takes over and you run the bill up at boo's stealing everyone's stars haha.
