Hi Guys!
Managed to snap up a 9800x3D this morning and im unsure if my current cooler will work with it.
Current cooler is the Corsair iCue H115i Elite Capellix RGB 280mm. It says it is AM4/AM5 compatiable on the product page but I bought this cooler before AM5 even came out? It was purchased November 2020.
I'm hoping I could re-use the cooler as it is so good and looks great. If anyone could help me that would be great

I typically enjoy fantasy/medieval settings, my most played games are mount and blade and civ v. I think my problem with jrpgs is the over dramatic dialogue. I’ve not really played any JRPGs, other than Pokemon. So I’d like to give JRPGs a proper try.
I’ve played tactic/strategy rpgs like advanced warfare in the past. I have played the typical rpgs Witcher 3, Skyrim, DOS 2, BG3 etc.
Yakuza Like a Dragon was in there but it’s on gamepass anyway.

2024.11.28 12:40 TheCryexLord Anyone know what's the CAE housing accommodation process is like in the middle of the school year and do I have a good chance to be accomodated?
Right now I'm in the process of filling out the CAE Housing Accommodation Form to find a suitable housing unit for my hearing related impairment after living here for a couple months. In those couple months, it had me rethink about needing housing accommodation.
Few weeks ago, there was recently a fire alarm going off in the apartments and I didn't notice until a roommates mentioned it to me. Other times, having visitors or roommates knocking at the door goes unnoticed when I'm around, even if I'm in the kitchen near it.
Which makes me wonder if there could be any unit have any visual light or alarm indicator to assist me on that aspect.
And lately, personal space is becoming a lot more demanding and tensive between my international roommate. I literally cannot wake up in time if I don't have a blaring loud and vibrating alarm along with auto bright light from my phone to get ready for my morning classes. My roommate is very sensitive to sounds and gets agitated easily from that, which had me place it on silent and hope that I can wake up on time from sleeping early. Plus I don't have a good guage how loud I am doing daily tasks especially things like dressing up or conversing. But even if sleeping early, my roommate is still active in the evenings that it's hard to sleep as constant door slamming and item unpacking are very distracting while sleeping or studying.
Conversing with the international roommate about it, I don't believe he understands the impairment condition and has been stubbornly adamant about his sensitive hearing. He dismisses or forgotten about my impairment entirely in conversation, which led to a lot of miscommunication that at times felt threatening, especially with the added cultural differences and physicality.
TLDR: Hearing impairment is inconvenient living in apartment and roommates, do I have a good case in getting into an accommodating unit, especially a single occupancy?

Vanakkam Chennai,
I am looking for a wheelchair friendly or a taxi (like the old omni vans) where one can stretch the legs and sit. I need to transport an elderly person to and from hospital who recently undergone knee replacement in both legs. Right now our only option is to use the hospital ambulance which is both inconvenient and not really correct usage.
Has anyone availed a different taxi or transport service which does this?

2024.11.28 12:40 dancemusicparty Which Insta360 cameras, 360° or otherwise, will help me achieve a non-360, stabilized fisheye look, specifically for skateboarding?
There's a prototypical "skateboard fisheye follow filming look". It is usually achieved with a fisheye lens held low to the ground, aimed slightly upward, following in close proximity to another skateboarder. The final image is either a 4:3 or 16:9 crop of the fisheye image circle, with vignettes in all four corners. I prefer 4:3, regardless of resolution.
I am curious which Insta360 cameras could help me achieve this look, ideally while also allowing for stabilization. In the case of either a 360° or non-360° camera, I would like to be able to access the full fisheye image circle of the camera, so as to be able to create a 4:3 final image, with corner vignettes.
With the X4, for example, is it possible to access the unprocessed fisheye video files in their circular distorted form? I have seen such recordings from the Go series, but not from the Xs.
Even though my aim in this instance is a non-360° type of shooting, 360° models are interesting to me generally for allowing new types of shots I haven't even considered yet. So, if both a Go and an X can shoot this fisheye look I am after, I would choose the X version.
Any help is appreciated.

I have the 2023 Samsung Family Hub+ with the camera that allows you to manually click on items to identify and set their expiration. I want it to do this automatically, which is done somewhat in the version from 2024 which I cannot upgrade to without a whole new refrigerator. It would be great to identify the items automatically and get their expiration days and then integrate with my vendor of choice to have them restocked every week or whatever.
