As many people know, RAOA is a huge sub and it can be very intimidating. Many newbies have questions they may feel silly asking or are just worried they won't make any l here. This thread will hopefully change that!
How this works:
The general idea is that this will be posted and you will be adopting a newbie for a whole week. I'm not saying you have to talk to them 24/7 all week. But be there to help them out and be an awesome friend! :)
Newbies:
Make a top level comment (basically make a comment in reply to this thread) stating you're new and would like to be adopted. Maybe include a little bit about yourself for your adopter to start to get to know you! If a top level comment is a bit too intimidating, sometimes users volunteer to be adopters and you can grab one of them!
Adopters:
Reply to a newbies comment saying you'd like to adopt them for the week! If you'd like, you can also post a top level comment saying you're looking to adopt! This will help any newbies with a bit of stage fright!
Notes:
Newbies don't have to be brand new. But you should be new enough to need some guidance such as what are tags, how do I contest, what rules do we have, how do I make friends, etc! Anything you need help with. A newbie can be adopted by more than one adopter! This way they have many people to help them out! Newbies, if you missed the first day, feel free to comment and be adopted mid-week! You can even come back and be adopted next week too!

Hypothetically and theoretically speaking, if there was a killer with a dagger wearing a ghostface mask wanting to murder me and he forced me to go with him and we had to take an elevator with him behind me watching me holding the dagger and when we arrived at the block I ran out and found a door to an apartment block open. I ran into the apartment of someone I didn't know. The person thought it was strange and decided to fight back, but I decided to hide inside a closet he owned. The killer entered the same place I entered desperately and killed the resident of the block and is looking for me in the resident's house to kill me and move on to his next victim, but as I said before, my entire body is hidden in the closet, holding my breath. He tries to look for me but he thinks I ran away before he entered the block or that I had already left the place a long time ago and decides go away and give up trying to find me and go to another victim or try to find me since he didn't find me and leave the block while I'm truly still hiding holding my breath so I don't die and he leaves the block then leaves the apartment through the elevator where he first entered with me (I don't leave the closet until the killer has left the place) leaving the body of the resident of the block after I leave the closet of the former resident after the killer left 56 minutes ago what do I do now

A bit about me: - I am into music, but like all kinds of music. I can talk metal, but I also love some good pop records. - I play guitar, have been doing it for 12 years! Am I any good? Nah. But I like it. - I like being outdoor, having long walks in nature, looking at all the animals and plants. Also a huge fan of outdoor swims at lakes or at the sea. - I like gaming, Witcher 3 has to be my favourite game ever, but I am also hugely into Pokemon, Resident Evil and Zelda.
So what do I look like? I am 190 cm tall, have a bit of a dad-bod in terms of figure and have blonde hair and blue eyes. I have a beard, but its trimmed very short (so it is not bushy at all!)

The Mjölnir kettlebell complex is a selection of kettlebell exercises for strength and cardio. The complex consists of and is performed as:
- Squat once
- Alternating curls
- Alternating bent-over rows
- Clean once
- Alternating hang cleans AKA Gorilla cleans
- Seesaw press
It’s a full-body complex, as this complex hits the biceps, forearm rotators, wrist flexors, back muscles, gluteals, quadriceps, calves, deltoids, and so much more. The pace at which this is performed raises the heart rate. Best programmed as an EMOM (interval training) because an AMRAP would quickly tire the elbow flexors.
None of this is something you just do when you first walk into the gym, or even when you’ve been going to the gym for a while but never learned how to work with kettlebells. This complex not only requires you to understand how to clean, rack, grip, transition, but it also requires good squat mobility and an already strong back.

We are all appreciative of the work and constant updates as this project rolls on. It seems the people have a large voice in what features get added and these updates are frequent which who doesnt like updates?
Many releases are followed by sorry posts that something was broken, shouldnt have been released etc. Totally fine, this is alpha, new features are being tested and applied often.
With the move to Beta, users will likely expect more stability. Not sure if the plan is to have separate browsers based on the branch? I would think as a whole, the move to Beta shouldnt follow the same developement approach
Id venture a guess that most people here dont know anything about software development and are just barking out orders cause they need their specific ARC feature working today! Trying to make too many changes for a minor point release each week with a small unpaid development team will ultimately lead to an unstable product which over time will make people look elsewhere. No one wants that.
