Let’s say that Old Nan continues on, immortal and unaging, and lives to the year 400. She’s now helping raise a small child (could be a Stark, could be a Bolton, could be a wildling child) and she’s telling tales about what happened in the years 280-301. We don’t know what human society looks like at this point, maybe it’s simply a child in a dark cave during the 101st year of the Second Long Night.
Write an ASOIAF plot from the tale-telling perspective and style of Old Nan, and see if the rest of us can guess! Warm it was, in the days where the sun shone bright in the sky and food and joy were plentiful. But Winter was coming, and it stalked in the cold shadows beyond the Wall and commanded death for man and beast alike. Death came for the children; the Queen of Death struck out, her hellhound’s bite was fierce to friends of House Stark. Abandoned and powerless, the direwolves descended into kinslaying. It is always the pups who fall first to the Winter, and the fall of their House began.

SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY
One of the players had a previous flirtation with the BBEG in disguise during Krakens Gamble. Since then they've obviously been going around doing hero things that have got her attention, so she tracked them down and 'happened' to run into them again, and now her and that player spent the night together, to try and get information about what they know/what they're up to.
I'm looking for memorable/impactful quotes or things she can say either the next morning as like foreshadowing/info gathering, or when they (hopefully) recognise her in Maelstrom (she will look similar to her human form) or when they confront her in dragon form either at the Eye or at the final battle. I don't necessarily want to make fun of the characters skill in bed because that's no fun, I'm looking for those DM quotes that really stick with you.
Even just examples of things you/your DM has had the BBEG say that are super impactful/memorable would also help

2024.11.28 13:49 Alive-Enthusiasm9904 Question: Wearing insignia and humanitarian symbols in milsim, whats your opinion?
How do your local events handle this? Are real insignia or humanitarian symbols allowed? Do your medics run around with red cross symbols while not actually being real medics?
I ask this because i did the medic training in the german red cross last year and i have a full diagnostic and trauma kit at home now and got myself the TT Medic Backpack (great piece of gear btw).
In the past i encountered a good few people playing as medic and wearing red cross patches on their gear. I'm not talking about a small one on an IFAK but actual red cross patches in different styles. It never came to my mind back then to ask if they were actual trained medics but i honestly doubt it. So if you can't take the red cross symbol serious on such events, how are you supposed to identify someone that has a full set of gear and the knowledge to help in an accident?
I also went through the FAQs on different events in my range and none of them had any rules against military or humanitarian symbolism (except for the typical political, religious or hate stuff of course)
So whats your opinion on this? Also do you have any tips for me on how to approach this?

I now have a spare desktop/tower PC that is currently running Windows11. I currently run Home Assistant on a HA green with Zooz Z-wave and SkyConnect Zigbee USB dongles. I would like to turn the PC into a dedicated HassOs system, so I've read about how to do that. Now in order to get my current system including Zigbee and z-wave devices onto it when I've done that, is it just a case of plugging in the dongles and "restoring" from a full backup I made on the Green, or is there more to it?

Mmart: $6500 Payday loan: $850 Bmo loc: $6000 CMoney: :$2600 Payday loan : $1200… Credit score: 504 Monthy pay (work): $3000 And I got a call from a law firm related to Mmart regarding my instalment loan. I was asked to pay the full amount or a partial by end of today or it might get sent to the court in my jurisdiction. So I’m thinking of getting a debt consolidation or get a consumer proposal.
NOTE: I have no assets only my work income. Also I’m willing to pay at least $1k by next week Thursday but the agent I talk to didn’t agree. So please any advice will be appreciated. Thank you .

This post is to address the cards in more detail as that post was a little vague about actual mechanics. + I'll upload a couple rulebook pages with some art for some c.c I'll list off some actual actual cards from some decks now so you all have a better idea of how they work. (Did some play testing last week with some family and it Went well!) So for fire we have cards like, phoenix flame: deal 2DMG & Heal 1HP BUT Move back 2 spaces OR Move 1 space forward Time Blaze: At the start of the opponents turn, deal 1DMG. This applies each turn until opponent heals. Shadow Vampiric Bluff: [Place card face down] If the opponent heals next turn, deal 2DMG OR Move 1 Space forward Shadow Strike: Deal 1DMG IF Opponent is within 3 spaces of the edge, Deal +2DMG BUT Lose 1HP if they take the additional DMG Water Final Flow: Gain 1HP OR Move 1 space forward, IF You moved last turn, deal 1DMG Lightning Static surge: place 1 storm token down and move 1 space OR Trigger storm tokens Hopefully this gives everyone a better idea as to what the cards will be like. Some are basic, some have trade offs and some have choices. I'm also looking into an idea to slightly spice the game up even more using a signature card Each deck will get a signature card with a small bonus, +1 HP, +1 move or push, Depending on the deck. The signature card will be placed in the deck and when drawn you draw the card directly under it. That second card now pairs with your signature card and when its played the signature cards effect also triggers.
