Hi, Unfortunately, my phone was recently stolen. Normally, I’d save up to buy a new one, but my current situation makes that very challenging. I need $385 (Ksh 50,000) to replace it, as it’s essential for my daily life.
I live in Kenya, and my mom is currently in the US. She went there to bury my brother. He was missing for a week, and we later found out he had drowned. With her being away and not knowing anyone there, we’re in constant communication. I assist her with tech issues and manage things back home, like paying bills, all of which require a phone.
To make things worse, my eldest brother has been taking advantage of her absence to cause chaos. He has evicted my cousin and her two-year-old son from our home and has even tried to evict me. I can’t move out because that would leave him here with full control, and we fear he might sell the house or her belongings.
I’m not her biological son, but she has always treated me as her own after my mom (her sister) passed away when I was young. I’m doing everything I can to support her, just as she has always supported me.
I understand that times are tough for everyone, and I’ll be deeply grateful for any help. Since I live outside the US, I can only accept contributions via PayPal.

I am currently trying to play through P8 on all characters. Have finished pally, assassin, and sorc.
Question is: Should I make a Grief or Fortitude.
Grief has more use case (barb, smiter, druid), but I feel im gonna need a damage boost to get through A3-5 Hell on my bowzon.

2024.11.28 13:39 antiperson2000 I feel like my social anxiety will prevent me from helping someone who urgently needs help
I feel like if someone got hurt in front of me, I would spend a long time thinking what is the most socially acceptable way to help them, then end up not doing anything at all (or worse, run away/leave pretending I didn’t see anything).
This is just based on simple experiences like not helping classmates pick their dropped pens up because I feel like they’ll think I’m weird, or not having the guts to say sorry when I accidentally bump into someone, or pretending to not see a colleague to not greet them.
I obviously don’t want this to happen and think it’s bad, but I become paralyzed in situations like this and I feel like my body would impulsively try to get out of the situation and not be involved at all.

Hi guys, just wanted to ask the other short girls in here if they are ever at the receiving end of “flirty” threats. It seems to be nowadays that every single time a guy flirts with me it includes some kind of violent threat. I’ve been on dates where the guy has threatened to strangle me, throw me in a lake, the other day a guy asked me out and in the same 5 minutes of conversation threatened to punch me in the face. It’s become somewhat commonplace and I feel like because of my height I’m like an easy target for violence. Idk if maybe short guys experience this too/ like other men are more willing to square up to them because they perceive them as an easy target.
