2024.11.28 14:30 squintismaximus TCG live still isn’t finished but Pocket has great UI. Why?
I kinda feel it was on purpose. Why not just make live have the nice ui and add short match format? Why make a whole new app? So I have to start a collection over? I wouldn’t mind it as much if Live was decent. It’s still missing stuff from the first one.
What if they just keep it only half working and pay barely any attention to it to get people more interested and invested into pocket with its MTX?
What really got me into live is that instead of MTX, I got cards from getting real cards. But I see in terms of profit pocket might be better but couldn’t they at least make live decent instead of just years of taking forever to fix anything?
Again I feel like it’s by design on purpose so they can shut it down, make everyone lose their digital collections and have to start from scratch.
Anyone think Live will ever be decent? You think they’ll at least update the UI and collection view for live or it’s just gonna stay eh forever? Can we trade and get our old cards yet or that’s never happening? Man. I wish they just merged them into one app..

2024.11.28 14:30 RepulsiveAnything635 I want to play a co-op focused strategy game with a friend over Discord. What are your recommendations?
My friend and I liked to play Civ 5 in co-op a lot back when we were in the same city. A lot of RTS games too with Age of Mythology being our long standing favorite, so I’m not against a bit of good fighting as long as the focus is on cooperating and supplementing each other in interesting ways.
Turn-based and RTS games are all welcome even though I’d honestly prefer something that’s a bit more chill so we can comfortably chat away on Discord, maybe with more focus on base building and defending than conquering. Whims of the Gods recently caught my eye but it hasn’t been released yet, so I was wondering if there was anything in the casual-strategy department (with a co-op option) that comes to mind. Asking because most games I came across which I liked sadly lack that crucial co-op component I’m after right now.

2024.11.28 14:30 MNhopNectar Finding the perfect 3 row suv?
I’m on a quest to find a replacement for my 2016 Ford Edge Sport. Need something with a bit more room. So far I’ve drove the 2025 Hyundai Palisade & Santa Fe(Caligraphy) 25 Telluride SX Prestige X-Line, 24 Grand Highlander Limited, Highlander Limited.
With both of the Toyotas, the seat comfort sucked, and just overall felt like a very basic vehicle. Tech was solid, but both didn’t feel like they handled the road bumps as good as I had hoped for a 50k vehicle.
Telluride seats were too firm and uncomfortable. Palisade seats were much more comfortable, tech was pretty much identical between the two, but the Palisade seemed to be just a bit better placement and such. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have wireless CarPlay/AA. Engine & transmission felt decent, but I feel like it’s missing that fun to drive factor. I wish it had the same updated interior as the Santa Fe. At least that would make it more compelling to maybe pull the trigger.
Santa Fe was great as far as tech, loved the interior, seats were very comfy, on par with the Palisade from what I could tell in my 10-15 mins of test driving. Biggest draw back was the engine and transmission shifting feel. Felt very weak and unimpressive. It handled the bumps of the road very well though.
I’ve heard mixed things on the 25 GMC Acadia Denali, as far as the engine noise & possible transmission issues? but haven’t drove it yet.
I’m also planning on driving the 25 MDX on Saturday to see how it compares to the rest. It feels to me the best looking exterior of the bunch, but I have to wait on my full judgement until I can drive it and see/feel it in person.
Biggest thing for me is that it has to be very comfortable seats & handle bumps without feeling like you’re bouncing all over inside. Fun to drive. Have good technology inside(big enough screen, Wireless CarPlay/AA) and other modern touches like wireless charging pad.
I also only want to spend no more than 60k, preferably 50-55k.
I’m in no need to replace my current car, only has 86k miles, and still runs well.
I know I’m being very picky, and I’ve been spoiled by the ride quality of our 2nd vehicle at home, 24 Audi Q8 Prestige with air ride.
Any insight as to what I might be overlooking would be awesome.
