Inspired by some recent findings on association between semaglutide and anxiety, I discussed and received a prescription for Rybelsus from my doctor. After 1 month on a 3.0 mg dose, my daily anxiety is significantly reduced: ~2 pt reduction on 14 day moving average on a 7 point scale self assessment scale, completed nightly). This change seemed to set in 1-2 weeks after beginning treatment.
Of course, there could be a placebo effect, though I have pursued several other promising treatments without a noticing difference.
My interest in the potential of semaglutide stemmed from my experience of anxiety, which I experience as located in or driven by my gut. I get “butterflies in my stomach”, a “churning sensation”, and trembling/weakness in my arms, which precede or coincide with mood/affect symptoms. Given (particularly oral) semaglutide’s potential mechanisms of action in the gut, I thought it may be worth trying.
I have also unsurprisingly experienced weight loss. Another confounding factor is that I have adhered to a weight lifting routine during the period I have taken semaglutide (though I started a few weeks before). The weight lifting has been another intervention to help manage anxiety.
Other interventions I have tried: CBT, citalopram, oxazepam, venlafaxine, in addition to ongoing weight lifting and semaglutide. I anticipate increasing the dose to 7.0 mg this coming month.

 | My baby girl Zuzu is a little over a year old now and she was fixed at 4 months old. I got this new tunnel set that comes with a flimsy little house and I was using it to put hay and pellets in hoping it would help her digging urges. I've been unable to have digging boxes in her area because she pees in them. So I'm searching here for advice. She does not pee in random places. Only in containers in her pen. She free roams all day and most of the night as my roommate is a night owl.so she is only in her pen about 6 hours while we sleep. I got her a huge home but she doesn't really like it.
