Hi all,
I recently upped my mileage in my attempt to prepare myself for my first marathon in May. About 4 weeks ago I ran 30km which is he furthest I had ran by 9km. Since then, whenever I run I have pain in my calfs which stops me running, sometimes it won't come on till 2-3km but then it's that bad it stops me running. I have tried to rest it for a week, that hasn't helped, I have being down strengthing exercises to see if that helps but still same issue.
I was looking at trying calf compression sleeves, do you guys think these would be worth trying?
If you have any other suggestions I am absolutely open to trying anything as I'm really struggling and it's getting me down, I had got to a place where I was able to run 20km and felt fine afterwards and now I can't run for a couple of minutes without this pain and I must admit it is really getting me down.

Anyone else bringing up the little menu mid fight and stepping outside the circle by accident? When I throw a powerful left jab I seem to bringing up the little menu sometimes, wondering if it’s just me or am I some sort of special? (Skill issue)
Yesterday I was fighting a hook spammer and was trying to keep them at bay with the jab only to bring the menu up and to make matters worse, I stepped slightly out of my circle a lot too with a little footwork/pivoting, so the screen goes all gray, then white like a flash bang form the spam hooks, to say WTF!!! Was going through my head is an understatement lol!

Does anybody know if the new season will be on Max and Discovery? I’ve only seen them post that it will air on Mondays on TLC. I hope they don’t plan on airing the entire season first and then adding them to streaming. I can’t seem to find any answers online about this.

As per my research
EUR fees is more than Tilburg, living cost is more there.
Tilburg is more academically oriented with a focus on research. Erasmus is better for practical learning and global business exposure.
Erasmus is ranked higher globally and has a stronger international brand. Strong focus on internships and placements in global companies

Looking to rant to people who would understand.
I’ve been waiting for a gastro referral for 8 months. I called and begged them in June to see them earlier so they just booked a scope and a colonoscopy.
My family doctor told me the results briefly but I had only eaten gluten for three days. I was insistent that wasn’t enough time to see results but they said to do it anyways and talk to the gastrointestinal doctor in November.
I tried calling two days in a row to confirm my appointment, no one picked up. I show up today and they said they cancelled it because I already had the tests done. But I’m still having issues?? No one discussed next steps or further tests at all.
I was so ready today to say I need to do a 6 week gluten challenge at least no matter how sick it makes me because I need answers. And now the earliest appointment I can get is the end of January.
I’m just honestly trying not to cry lol I’m still sick and in pain and looking for answers. So I went and got my favourite gluten free sandwich and will wallow in my misery.

Hey guys, so for the context, I'm on my note 20 phone now, and I've loved it for the better part, but has been causing a lot of heating problems since last 6 months and battery issues, that said, I've utilized it quite a bit till now. It's the 256gb exynos version.
I'm looking to buy a new phone, and while I was almost certain to go for s24+ I found out s23 is also available to buy a significantly cheaper price. Here are the details.
S23
Sd 8 gen 2, 256gb for INR 42,000 / USD 497
S24+
Exynos 2400, 256gb for INR 60,000 / USD 710
These are discounted price as per the sakes going on in india, since the phones are pricier here compared to the west.
My use case.
So I don't game at all on my mobile phones, so gaming is out of the question.
I heavily use YouTube , spotify, mails, photos, gallery, Adobe light room, and I'm keen on using the available and upcoming AI features down the line.
My main concern is the battery efficiency down the line, as the updates start rolling out. I'm aware that the s24 line of series are promised new OS updates for 7 years, so that makes it around 2031 for the s24 and till around 2027 for the s23. Should I bet on the exynos version or go for the s23 with SD gen 2?
I plan to use the phone for atleast 3 years and a max of 5 years if not more, depending on the performance, I could go for more, but the performance is something I'd really be looking for, alongside the longevity.

2024.11.28 15:32 Kingmaker_ How to disable carrier ads (pop-ups) on Pixel 8a?
I bought a Pixel 8a in the US, but use it in another country. I have been getting full screen popups from my carrier, always advertising content. Ver annoying, because they force you to dismiss and takeover the screen, greying out whatever content I'm looking at.
These are not SMSs, but just a random popup, allowing to choose only cancel or ok. Of course, cancelling does not stop it.
I saw past posts, searched for SIM and got to Google Messages > Advanced > 'Sim card messages' menu, but opening it is all blank.
They are not using emergency alerts, because if I look there is no history.
What can I do to stop them? The next time I see it, is there something to be done to identify what app is causing this, and block it perhaps?
