i (m18) have been speaking to F18 for a year, on and off contact, this june we started speaking again since being no contact for 4 months prior as both of us had different mindsets for what we were. we came into this with the same mindset of a relationship but turned more into a situationship. Things were going good until one night i had accidentally said something in the wrong tone that had hurt her and i immediately apologised since i realised what i had said and tried my best to make her understand what i had meant to say instead of what i said, i could hardly sleep that night because i hated how my miscommunication stalled a point in our relationship. the night after she went to a festival with her friends without me which i was okay with, i realised i had broken some trust for her but i still had trust with her since i feel that i could try correct myself and regain trust for her. that night she drunk a lot and ending up making out with someone who she had made out with during our no contact phase as a way to hurt me back the same way i had hurt her, i was obviously very hurt since i didn’t think she would cheat (in my eyes this would class as cheating but i know ideally it isn’t since there was no official title) and explained that it can’t be cheating since we were never together and how she did it just to get back at me for this, i told her two wrongs never make a right and that i think im done with what we had going on, her friends were calling me an asshole for ending it and i hate drama so i figured after a few hours i can forgive her but i wont ever forget that night, which has haunted me since the night it happened (august). she told me in the morning it meant nothing since she was drunk and it was a mistake but wont say it was cheating since we aren’t official. j told her i understand but its still going to hurt for a long time which feels like forever in my eyes, i would never forget that night. she told me that it was with someone who she knew atleast to try make me feel better but made me worse (i hadn’t known who it was at this point) until one night we were all on a drive with her friends and her friends told me i was a massive asshole that night for the way i reacted towards the situation and told me who it was, who i then realised it was someone during our no contact stage. i was hurt more than ever before and i realised that the way i hurt her could not compare to the way ive felt about this, which may sound selfish but i do believe this way. she told me how she regrets that night and brings up about the cheating stuff and being a drunk mistake which makes it okay in her eyes, i’ve told her this feels like cheating to me and it makes me very uncomfortable to heatalk about. She brought it up a while later and i was very upset about it and told her, she told me to grow up and if im going to be like this then to just leave her alone and go back home (i was at her house during this time) and i stayed silent because i do want to be with her and i said id forgive her for it. one night she had gone through my phone with my permission and seen old messages between me and old relationships before i met her and she was very hurt over this, i had forgotten to delete them since i try my best to ignore past things and i never thought this would affect something in my future and i told her i was sorry and i couldn’t explain in words how sorry i was about it all. i hadn’t met her in some chats and one was in our no contact stage which i had chosen not to pursue since i felt i would still retry with her. using her logic it shouldn’t mean anything because it was in the past and wouldn’t class as cheating. she has also told me she could never commit to a full relationship again since she has only been hurt by them in her past which i am okay with since im trying to show her i can be better than her past and make up my wrongs. every day and night i have been haunted by that night and i hate hearing about it despite how many times ive told her this makes me feel. what is the best thing to do in this situation?
TLDR: i forgave her for making out with someone but can’t forget about it and she gets hurt about my past but still brings it up to me as a joke.

I brought my ps5 over to someone’s house to show them kingdom hearts. When I went to put in the disc, I realized the game was originally for ps4. I figured it would still work in that system anyways but when we were playing, the inputs seemed delayed and awkward. Should I just bring my ps4 over instead since it was originally released for ps4?
Has anyone else noticed when playing on the ps5, it has delayed controls? Or is it just the tv settings that need changed?

So far H5N1 has been slowly making it’s way from chickens to cows (around the middle of 2024) and now pigs in Oregon (within the last couple weeks). There have been a few mild human cases, basically all in farm workers working closely with infected animals. Although there was at least one case recently where they had no idea where the patient got infected from.
Normally, CDC will be tracking all this and keeping tabs on isolation of infected communities/individuals. This flu seems to be most prevalent in the US than other countries so far, and we have much more transparency and observability than China. So my risk assessment for this has been pretty low until Trump got elected.
But Trump has been making it very very clear that he’s going to pull every stop to deport undocumented migrants. Most of the people working in shitty conditions in farms are…undocumented. Undocumented workers are normally able to access some level of public services like healthcare, but this is about to get completely shut down by the Trump admin. And these farm workers are about to get shoved into concentrated compartments with really poor hygiene conditions, and it’s going to take a long time for them to actually get processed and deported. Many will run and hide, and that will also end up hiding how many people are actually infected and spreading the disease.
I think most people are expecting the Trump admin, especially under RFK Jr.'s health dept, to reduce spending on vaccines. But I think at a certain point, the rhetoric is bound to change, as more and more people get bird flu. After all, Operation Warp Speed was under the last Trump administration as well.
Moderna was given $176 million in July by the HHS to develop an mRNA bird flu vaccine. There already exists a bird flu vaccine made by CSL Seqirus, but I would imagine that the Trump administration will want to call upon a well-known American company to manufacture "America first" vaccines.
$MRNA has been down for many months, as the COVID hype worn down, but they recently announced that they are reducing R&D expenses and focusing on 10 approvals by 2027. They've also been making huge jumps in the last week due to a bullish sales view. I'm long on $MRNA.

I ran the Turkey Trot 10k, sponsored by Saint Arnold, today—and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I’d usually post this on social media, but I’ve been off all platforms. Still, I need to vent somewhere.
First off, the porta-potty situation was atrocious. There simply weren’t enough of them, leading to absurdly long lines before the race even started.
The run itself? Underwhelming and, frankly, unpleasant. The route included a quick loop around UHD, some construction zones, and the only redeeming stretch—a short segment along the bayou path. But even that was lackluster since the 10k course was just the same 5k loop repeated twice.
To top it off, they ran out of 10k medals. Really? For a pre-registered race? The medal and shirt distribution was a chaotic mess, with zero organization. Having participated in other 10ks, half-marathons, Spartans, and Tough Mudders, I know how these events can (and should) be run. This one fell embarrassingly short.
I wish I could post this directly on social media, in the hope Saint Arnold would see it—but here’s the gist: you guys did a shoddy job. Happy Thanksgiving.

I found these people living in an abandoned house with a demon. The demon talks to me, says something about eating human flesh as punishment. It then cuts to half a dead body thats been eaten off of, and someone crying saying they can't eat it whilst on their knees, sitting over a toilet. I see their hands, and in it is a small, bloody chunk of meat.
It then switches to me on a railroad or mini coaster in the woods surrounded by a river, with the two people living with the demon, when the track stops. They get upset. I overhear them say that I was supposed to be food. I quickly jump off the cliff, into the water and swim to this circular section in the river, and swim onto a little island, get off of it to continue swimming, then swim back. Behind me i see black where the cliff i was at was, and the words, dark forest. I look ahead. To my left, I see ropes in the water, and internally I think, 'I will drown if I swim through those'. To my right I see a ledge, assumingly made out of rock, leading out of the water. I grab some rope I found, swing it through a whole in the rock, and somehow rap it through before swimming again, and making my way up. Once in the woods again, I see that the two people from before have hung themselves out of fear of what the demon would do to them as punishment for me escaping when they got back home.
Once out of the woods, I find a park, with an extremely, unusually tall, skinny, frizzy haired lady. The best way I could possible describe her body is like the rakes, but taller, and a taller, flatter, and skinnier upper half. She claims she is an author.
