So I'm a 4/1 Generator with 8 centers defined, emotional authority but also a waiting to respond strategy... I do find that initiating things in general has been a hit or miss for me, leading to feeling like I lack a purpose. It's strange because I simultaneously feel like (and I've felt like this even before I found out about human design, and when I did, it all finally started making sense) my life is on a fixed trajectory for sure but the roads I'm paving or that have been paved for me have been painful and straight up confusing. If you're a 4/1 or know 4/1s, how have you navigated this?

I have a long history of 5 star sales and yesterday someone drove to my house to pick something up and I COULDN'T FIND IT. As soon as they said they would come, I went to get it from where it was stored and it wasn't there. I texted them right away but they were already on the way, I tore the house apart in those 15 min. Nothing.
I was the nightmare marketplace person. I'm haunted by the shame and deserve every awful thing they might say in a review. I told them I'd bring it to them if I found it...... but I have a feeling it mistakenly made it's way into a donated box of stuff.

2024.11.28 15:50 Fun_Strain_4065 The sugar crash is so real and obvious
My office had a catered lunch and learn event with sandwiches, wraps, and cakes. I ate as normal, wraps, a piece of a sandwich, some pickles. While my friends were helping themselves to cake, I sniffed them but didn’t partake - we also had some international coworkers bring some (admittedly tasty looking) cookies in a metal tin. Again, I sniffed but didn’t eat.
My coworkers ate and went back for seconds, thirds, laughing about having more and cakes “talking to them”. They were in high spirits, jokey, talking fast, having a great time - and I did too, because the chats were genuinely great.
But within thirty-forty minutes they just stopped and sank into silence. Somebody made an offhand remark about a sugar crash hitting everyone at once. It was honestly so weird to see the mood dip like that, and as sad as I was to see the chats go, I was relieved I wasn’t experiencing the crash.
