Whether music and its ability to evoke emotion in the listener speaks to something universal about music, or, whether this is influenced by culture and musical experience. I'm trying to host my single player world as a dedicated server for me and my friends. But when I launch the server and load in, it's either the wrong world or it's the same world but missing things from my single player world. Anyone have any ideas how to fix? I've put the start_headless_server code in an image attached to this post. My world is VoicesFromTheAshes so it should be pulling the correct world.
The only thing I can think of is when I loaded the server for the first time, I get alot of things like "Failed to load TarPit2 25 of 73" or things like that, so I feel like it's loading the correct world but not all of it? Any ideas or thoughts on how to fix?

26 years old, 220-26=194 Max HR. Considering this was measured with a whoop and i was not monitoring it, i guess i am well aware of my physical limits. I also go to the sauna a lot, so my body is not new to warmth as a stressor. I love pushing myself in the sauna, almost in a meditative way for mental strength. I like the first relaxing bit and then the effort my body has to make. But man, did i feel good after this session.

To start off, I'm a 31 year old retail manager. I've never been financially dependent. I hate where I live (with family) and I can't afford to move out. My whole life I've felt lost as to what I want to do career wise. I'm an artist and thought maybe an art career path? I ended up getting an associate's degree in graphic design that I did nothing with because I didn't enjoy it and knew that graphic design was competitive and didn't pay that well. Years later I decided to go to school again to be an art teacher and I am just now finishing the first semester. I keep hearing horror stories of how hard it is to be a teacher and how hard it is to find a job and how little it pays. I also have social anxiety so I feel dumb for even pursuing a career that involves so much talking. Now I'm doubting this too. I don't even know if I should finish my degree. Then I thought maybe I could be a radiologic technologist because of the money/job security. The prerequisites and schooling scare me. I would also feel weirdly guilty for abandoning an art career. I don't know. I'm scared of wasting more time. I am too old for this. I feel like at my age I should have established a good career by now. I should have been able to live independently. I straight up don't know what to do anymore. Nothing seems like a good fit.
I would like to hear some stories of those of you with high career satisfaction, regardless of what you do. I need ideas to work towards.

Guys, I need a big favor from you. I’m changing my phone to a newer version and I’m stuck on deciding which version would be better performance/battery wise. Of course I’d love to get the 16 but I’ve been reading comments and reviews that the 16 is no better than 15 pro/pro max. What do you think? I need a sensible advice on this because I’ll use it for at least a year. I’ve never had iPhones other than the regular models (5, 7, 11, and now 12). If I changed to a pro or promax version that would be a big upgrade 🤣

2024.11.28 16:31 MrJohnCream Wife and I getting back into gaming and need some advice
Now that our children are a bit older, my wife and I are getting back into PC gaming. Our current rig is a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD. It is used for gaming, office tasks, "everyday use", and the like.
Our main trouble is that modern games are so large that we have to constantly shuffle the games we have installed, sometimes uninstalling every other game to make space for just a single game. (Is this the new normal?) We didn't have enough room on the SSD for Anno 1800, for example, and had to put it on the HDD. The game took many, many minutes to load and often froze anyway. We'd like to try BG3 and Cyberpunk 2077, but it doesn't even look possible given our storage considerations.
We can usually run our current crop of games on medium settings. We're not too picky about graphics, but we do like to run as high a possible without sacrificing performance. I'm guessing that more recent games (like Cyberpunk) wouldn't run well on our current rig, but I'm not really sure.
Is it possible (and if so, is it worth it?) to upgrade the storage on our laptop, or should we build a dedicated gaming desktop PC? (I think we'd both prefer to have a dedicated gaming desktop but just want to make sure that we're not missing an easy fix by upgrading the laptop.)
If we built a PC, our budget would be $1000-$1500. We'd use Windows 11, most likely, and probably buy a good monitor. We are located in the rural Midwest, USA.
I was browsing Logical Increments and was settling on the "Excellent" tier before I decided to get a second opinion.
Games that play well on our rig: Civ VI, Subnautica, Left4Dead 2, Portal 2, XCom
Games we own that we can't really play on this rig: Anno 1800, GTA V, RDR2
Games we'd like to try someday: Cyberpunk, BG3, Civ VII
Sorry for the wall of text, but thank you to anyone who can give us advice!
