Im trying to get out of my shell and get out of the cycle I’m stuck in. I’m constantly working lately just to distract myself, which isn’t healthy for me and I tend to do that often when I’m isolated for too long, ofc its comfortable to be alone most of the time but it tends to spiral out of control where I get used to bad habits again. Just a disclaimer early on so people won’t waste their time if that’s a complete dealbreaker for them, I have some trouble with starting conversations or holding/ending a topic. That might be caused by my autism and lack of practice (my own fault for isolating so much haha) but once there is a topic we both enjoy it shouldn’t be an issue!
Soo let’s drop some more information about my self (even through there ain’t much lol) I’m from Europe, living in Germany but I don’t mind wherever u are from or that we have different time zones. I enjoy video games like most people do nowadays, I grew up playing on Pc but due to my pc breaking and being too old to run most games, im just playing on console (Xbox) till I someday build a new one again. I usually enjoy shooter but I suck on console lmao so if we ever play together keep that in mind since I’m still too used to mouse and keyboard. Other than shooter I play Diablo, lately Brotato especially since the new dlc dropped. And I used to play a lot of rimworld before my pc broke.
Next up would be Anime and manga (manhwa,webtoons) even through it helped me in my teens through some tough times I kinda stopped watching anime for the most part for certain reasons, but occasionally I still watch something if it looks promising or interesting. I’m mainly reading webtoons and or manhwa almost daily so I’m more up to date there.
I occasionally draw when my adhd remembers that I could do that again lmao, but I’m not good at it so don’t expect anything great from me there or any deep knowledge.
Last thing that would come to mind now would be that I enjoy helping people with their struggles even if it’s just lending an ear or place to vent to, ofc I can also give tips or advice from my pov but only if asked since I don’t know the full context or have the same experience.
I also prefer talking on discord but it’s completely fine to talk on Reddit to see if we vibe but I’m down to move away from reddits horrible messaging if the time comes lmao
Well that was quite the long text, usually I’m not great at selling my self lmao but sorry that it turned out rather lengthy, if you stayed till this point I applaud you and hope to hear from you and if you do decide to reach out pls say a bit more than “(hi I also like x, let’s talk)”. It’s doesn’t need to be long but a bit more would be appreciated, but regardless of that I hope that whoever reads this has a great day or night!

I (23F) have been with my boyfriend (24M) for a year. Early in our relationship, he was very persistent about knowing my body count. I didn’t feel comfortable sharing because it’s part of my past that I’m not proud of. I worried he might judge me for something I can’t change. I realize now I probably should have told him the truth right away, but I really liked him and didn’t want to risk things. I believed he loved me for who I am now, not for my past. To me, body count has never been an important topic and shouldn’t define a person, but I still felt guilty for not being honest.
Recently, I confided in a coworker from my church—someone I trusted—about this and asked for their advice. They suggested that if the topic came up again, I should consider being honest with my boyfriend. To my shock, less than a week later, they told him everything I had shared with them in confidence. They even added things that weren’t true. I was hurt and blindsided when my boyfriend confronted me, yelling and accusing me of being a liar.
What hurt even more was how he brought it up with my mom after she called to check on me. He told her about my past in a way that felt unnecessary and humiliating.
We’ve since talked and cleared the air, but I’m left feeling betrayed by both my coworker and the way this all unfolded. I’m still trying to process my emotions and figure out what this means for me moving forward.
