Accessibility >> Siri >> Spoken Responses. Set to "Prefer spoken responses."
Mine was set to "Automatic". Once I set it to "Prefer spoken responses" it always speaks.
I did some experimenting with Automatic mode and it seemed to give a typed response when I was looking at the screen and a voiced response when I was not. But I can't get that behavior consistent. Suffice to say, "Automatic" seems to be an option for speaking sometimes but not other times and it's not very good at it.

2024.11.28 16:49 Scuur Sony STR-DH790 for Atmos and Budget Speakers: This a Good Starting Point?
m in the process of building a home theater system and eventually want to transition to an Atmos setup. I have around $300 in cash to spend, and my main priority right now is finding a good receiver. Ideally, I'd like to buy it from Best Buy since I have $300 in store credit there.
That means I could spend roughly $400 on a receiver (after using the store credit), which would leave me with about $200 for speakers, either through Marketplace or other deals.

Do you think this would be a good choice to start with? I also found a speaker setup that I can grab for around $150:

 | Error message I am freaking out right now. I went to open a project I was working on and got this message. Happens every time I try to open a project. I was trying to open the file "best of bloopers" but it seems to be looking for a different file in that project. I don't know what to do. I tried opening the Reaper projects file on my computer and opening the file from there, I get the same message. Tried searching and browsing, when I click on the project this same message happens. I am running Windows 10, and there was an update a few days ago, and the last time I used Reaper was prior to that. I have over 60 episodes of my podcast that I cannot access now. Plus the 2 hours I had already put into editing my most recent project. I'm not particularly computer savvy, and would appreciate any help you can provide!
