Hi,
Please suggest a good layering scent to make perfumes more vanillic/sweet.
I own good girl and YSL libre and I like them but I'm looking for something to layer them with that would make them more sweet and vanillic. I was kind of hoping to get a similar vibe then guess seductive noir where I can smell the herbal notes and the sage but it's still very sweet.
I like the dry down of good girl but there's a plastickey lipstick kind of smell that I pick up at first and for the libre same thing, I like the dry down but I'm not sure about the strong lavender, kind of makes me think of laundry detergent. I know I'd like them better if they were sweeter and had more vanilla.
Please suggest something, preferably cheap lol

I graduated with a degree in media and communications (yes I regret choosing that degree) in April. I really struggled to find a job in marketing, which is what I wanted to do.
I was so desperate I wrote a post on Facebook and this man said he needed someone to help with marketing of his furniture stores.
I went for an interview and he seemed really legit, he said he needed someone to make a new website and make new social media accounts for his stores. We agreed I’ll be paid minimum wage and weekly.
I thought this seemed perfect, no weekend work and the hours are 9:30-16:30.
But within one week I knew I’d made a mistake working here. He started to get me to conduct sales, interact with customers, answer all the phone calls, make phone calls to customers, make him coffee every hour, and clean the entire store by my self everyday.
So on my first pay day I was paid in cash and it was not the amount we agree on, I had been paid £10 an hour instead of £11.44 I told him but he said he will up my pay once I make more sales. Bare in mind he doesn’t give commission but on my first few days there I sold a sofa set for £5000 and he said he’s give me a bit more pay for that. He gave me an extra £5.
I’m still in the job now, but I’m only in it because i need the money, if I didn’t take this job I would have been homeless.
I apply to new jobs whenever I get the time at work because he makes me use my own device and pay for canva premium so I can make social media posts. I know it’s bad I’m doing that at work but if I’m not getting paid minimum wage and having to fund my tools for work why should I not look for a new job.
Whenever I do hear back from jobs I get told I don’t have enough experience. I’ve started to apply to customer service roles, and admin because I don’t think I’ll be able to get a job in marketing with the lack of experience.
But every job I apply it’s a no. I’m so stuck because this job is really making me depressed and anxious and I get no sick pay. Or any holidays for that matter.
I keep a list of all the horrible things he says to me. He’s constantly being sexist. I now have to put alcohol in his coffee all day.
Does anyone have any advice on which companies give jobs to people with little to no experience? I don’t know how much longer I can handle this current situation.

Posting this for a bit of feedback as I'm somewhat stressed by the email. Of note is I am located in Ontario, Canada.
Some background on Lab 1: I reached out to this professor back in October, enthusiastically, as I knew of her work, saw her lab was looking for a PhD, and our interests generally aligned. We had one light 'interview' meeting and had a follow-up a few weeks later, talking about lab, work culture, and a scholarship app I was putting in. Of note is this uni is in another city, that's about 3 hours away; we discussed me working partially remote, and she was fine with this. Details TBD
Lab 2 background: Near the end of October I came across a posting for a PhD at the university right by me that is in the exact field I work in and am interested in. I enthusiastically applied but didn't hear back until this month; had an interview, didn't get the position (due to me not being able to start in time with work obligations), but the professor was enthusiastic about having me in her lab. She says some opportunities should be coming in winter but I reached out asking if I should apply for September 2025 intake either way (waiting on an answer). A big pro of this lab is it's 15 minutes away vs 3 hours. Both offer similar base stipends with TA requirements.
I let the professor of Lab 1 know I would be making a decision soon as to which lab I was committing to, and asked her if she had a date which she needed an answer from me to know how to structure her lab/projects. She came back, letting me know she was taken aback to know I was shopping around labs, as she was not aware and would have approached recruitment differently.
I guess I'm just stressed about ruining any sort of working relationship with her, especially if I go with Lab 2 as I'm leaning toward. My field isn't huge and Lab 1 is a name in it that I'd like have overlapping work with. I'm first gen and don't generally know how these processes go; I wasn't aware that the time dedicated to talking to me with Lab 1 meant it was assumed I was joining the lab/applying to the university.
I plan on apologizing and letting Lab 1 PI know it wasn't planned when I reached out initially, but don't know how to otherwise approach this while making it clear I respect her time and work and project needs.
