I'm generally convinced by determinist arguments and don't think there's any reason to believe that free will exists. The only thing holding me back is the idea that if our beliefs (just as everything else we do) are determined by previous brain-states and chemicals, how is any notion of logic or rationality at all possible? Are there any philosophical answers to this?

I (24M) have been talking to a girl(19) for about 2ish months and we both have feelings for each other and we both acknowledged it directly. we’ll call her E for privacy sake.
So E and I have been talking for a bit. I have been broken up with my last girlfriend for about 2 months at this point and I have developed feelings for this girl since we originally started talking at work. She has been really nice and we’ve had good conversations and we communicate very well. She’s very clear about what she wants and how she feels and that’s what I like. A week or so ago we had a conversation with other coworkers and the topic of seeing multiple people at a time or sleeping with more than one person at a time was discussed and she said she would sleep with guys or girls if she isn’t exclusive to someone and i immediately felt super uncomfortable because we’re talking and at this point I thought like hey im talking to her and now she’s saying that.. so are we exclusive? Im not sur. I thought about it for a while.
Well last night we had a conversation that she has been having sex with other guys in her apartment since we started talking and I felt hurt by it because maybe I was assuming that we were exclusive and we weren’t. prior to finding that out, she’s told me she wants us to work out, she wants to take it slow with me because she feels like she wants to be serious with me and that she’s only sleeping with the other guys because she has a high sex drive and doesn’t want to move too fast with me because she doesn’t want to take our relationship to that direction because of how she feels about us. She constantly kept saying she thinks she fucked up. How she doesn’t want to fuck it up and that she thinks she did. I told her I didn’t feel any different about her because she’s not exclusive to me but I didn’t want to hear that.
I am sort of hurt by it, but she’s never lied to me and she’s never given me a reason to not believe that she wants me as more than a booty call.. we’ve never had sex before but we’ve kissed a bit.
Am I delusional for thinking that she’s worth continuing with? That she’s not putting out to me in with the intention of taking it slow and not rushing things? That she’s really in it for me and not leading me on? I still absolutely adore her and she’s been really supportive and kind and is really adamant about us being together further than just talking and a booty call.. talked about it for a long time and she’s talked to her friends about me and her friends come to me saying that they are rooting for me or that I’m a nice guy .. idk man im so confused that it’s almost unbearable to not have this internal dialogue that im just a pushover or something. Could anyone help me understand my thoughts here

I’ve had to go back and get all the intel since that bugged patch happened and I’ve just done the cursed talisman EE. I’m not really a fan of the mechanic though and I’d like to remove the talisman. Is it possible or am I stuck with it for the rest of the game?

I just want to shout out about my experience with USmobile customer support! My self transfer was rough at first attempting my verizon to usmobile via esim on iphone 13. Thought i had it at the get go. I was mistaken. I work late night and resorted to chat support when i got home on my wifi prior to midnight on Thanksgiving eve.
Long story short, Alisha got my services running as quickly as possible and i feel confident my other three lines will be up and running Saturday when i go for it. Services working smoothly on Warp, iPhone 13 pro max cracked back and all! Can’t believe and I’m grateful for excellent customer service even on a Holiday at late night early morning! Couple tips, do this at home when on wifi and yeah there is a physical sim in the iPhone 13 pro max, regardless of model find that sim tool that most phones came with. It will be handy.

2024.11.28 19:43 Cap_Diabetes Connected 3V3 to STM32F413 Vcap. Any chance of survival?
I've designed a custom PCB based on STM32F413 MCU. There by mistake I've had Vcap pin connected to the 3V3 plain of the whole board. Once I've powered it up there was a 200mA current consumption and the MCU heated up. Once I spotted the mistake I've cut off the traces that connected the Vcap pin to the 3V3 and soldered in a capacitor between Vcap and GND.
Now I'm unable to program my MCU (device target not found) and when I measure the voltage on the vcap pin I read 0V
I've read online that Vcap is the output of the internal LDO that drops the 3.3V to 1.2 V for the core. If that's true I believe that I've fried the core by connecting the 3V3 to the Vcap pin.
I don't want to make these assumptions too quick but I don't know how else could I check if my MCU is still alive.
What would your guesses be? If you need more data, say the faulty schematic or anything else, let me know
