I am currently going through a rough patch so I decided to read acotar to take my mind of stuff and while re reading I found how similar nesta and feyre are Both when provoked, say some stuff and regret it later For nesta we have countless examples for feyre as well but one I think shows a lot of similarities is this one

After being turned both of them struggled emotionally and lashed out but for feyre the characters were way open but nesta it makes me feel sad how no one tries to see that maybe there's more to it than nesta being a cardboard nasty bitch who hates everyone.
Maybe if they showed the same openess to Nesta that they did to feyre then she wouldn't be so angsty with them.

I thought I had my rank list set, now I'm at a loss. Orlando local, so they got geo preference (didn't signal though). USMD 25x with few pubs, none of them first author. Here's my quick take:
- Hospital is 2nd busiest in US. (ED somehow busier than NYC). Reported as insane pathology and complexity seen as its also one of the top 50 largest hospitals in US.
- Program and Curriculum: There are 200+ residents, multiple programs, and pulm/crit fellows. Residents said at IV there's lots of collaboration as they all programs together, relatively new 3 years ago.
- Curriculum: Built from PD/APDs' experiences. High in academics (POCUS, procedures, strong ITE scores) + wellness (no 24hr calls, 4 weeks vacay). Every team has POCUS w/ AI and monthly training on it. Their academic ½ day reportedly truly protected----attendings are expected to take over when at conference.
- Accomplishments: From regional/national abstracts (e.g., CHEST) to residents landing big journal pubs (e.g., JACC). Their first class even co-wrote an Amazon book (Intern Mastery), each resident writing on their subspecialty fellowship interests. Apparently their new interns are doing "crazy" things they "can't spoil" yet..
In terms of benefits, tons but big to me was that private resident-only building (badge access?) with a gym and lounge, daily meal stipend, cafeteria with a Starbucks, sushi bar, teriyaki grill etc.. I asked the PD how they support residents with little research experience like me, and he shared his screen to highlight one of their residents who, in his words, went "0 to 100" with 10+ PubMed IDs including a meta-analysis on cardio. Their cardio fellowship is next, and there's reportedly more coming. So, couldn't sleep last night, sitting here on Thanksgiving rethinking everything 🦃

Sincerely if it weren't for the active votes and all, I never would have finished this challenge. I'm too lazy for myself. I'm so sorry it took this long to cook though. Been busy trying to make art a steady source of income and just surviving college in all so I got a lot sidetracked.
Here it is! Pearl!!! My first time in almost 3 years drawing a full blown side profile. I dodge it a lot because I find the proportions hard for me but the whole point of this challenge was to somewhat go beyond my comfort zone and in legit super proud of myself that I was able to do it 300% times better than I expected. The lighting alone was mystical for me, the artist lol

To be honest, I was thinking about autism before getting (half) fired. I got my job as a school counsellor and special needs teacher. For a school counsellor, I was required to get through a trial period of three months. I failed, the review was negative. So I had to be fired (but I'm still a teacher lol) for that part of the job. The review said I was not great at communicating basically, and not giving advice enough (without anyone asking for it), not being self-initiative enough, spending too much time in my office.
And at first I felt really stupid. And I've felt really stupid for a great part of my life, even though overall I did fine, I was successful in school. I was recognised as gifted but I never felt smart. I always had to work hard to get good grades, it didn't just come by being smart and remembering everything.
And it's not just poor social skills, there's other signs of neurodivergency as well: some sensory sensitivity, light especially (I'd say noise as well but I also have tinnitus so I don't know if that counts), stimming/fidgeting, quickly overwhelmed by having to process too many stimuli, masking in social situations, avoiding eye contact with strangers, picky eater, GI issues... I'm also queer.
I will get tested but since the wait lists are so long, it will take almost a year. And even then, I don't know who I'll get evaluated by and I might not get a diagnosis. They might slap some anxiety disorder over it all and call it a day. I know self-diagnosis is valid but since I never seem to have "textbook" symptoms, I don't feel like I could claim the label for myself... But if I had a diagnosis, paradoxically, I think I would finally feel normal.
