Hi there.
Does anyone have an idea where you can park your car for free near Zeeheldenbuurt?
My bf lives there and taking the bus from P+R Haren is not always convenient when I have work since the busses are not always on time.
Parking is a real no-go beause somewhere between €20,- and €25,- a day is just insane. I know there is some parking at Tuinland and Gamma at the Peizerweg, but i'm not sure if I can park there since there is a sign that says you will get towed after certain times.

This phrasing always bothers me: when something bad happens to you, you tell a friend about it, and they respond with, "Well, if it makes you feel better, [insert a completely different bad thing that recently happened to them]."
I'm not talking about bringing up similar struggles to commiserate, or saying something like "sorry, I'm having a rough time myself and don't have the spoons for this kind of conversation right now," or anything of that nature. No, I'm talking your average low-stakes counter-complaint, like, for example:
You: "Friend, I had a really rough day at work today."
Friend: "Well, if it makes you feel better, I just burned my dinner."
First of all, WHY would that possibly make me feel better? Are you suggesting I take joy in my friends' suffering? Because I do not!
Second of all, it kind of feels like I reached out to them saying "hey, I'm having a rough day, can I complain for a second?" and they slapped down an Uno reverse card and said "nuh-uh, I get to go instead." Kind of a weird move.
Am I overthinking this phrase or is it genuinely as weird to say as I think?

I just bought a Saturn 3 Ultra, worked perfectly for about a week and a half. A huge hole tore through my ACF, replaced it. Now I can't get anything to stick to my build plate. I've levelled so many times, everything is super clean, the temps are all good. I'm at a loss as to what to do and elegoo support can't help me. I have tried bottom exposures from 30s-70s (elegoo support said to try 70s with 9 layers) and the best I can get is the XP2 barely holding on for dear life.

Hi, I have worked for a tutoring centre for 3 months now and am considering leaving. Many things such as my boss repeatedly getting my pay wrong. Another thing that rilea me up is her setting hard work. For example 9-10 year olds will be doing area and cirmfurence with double digit radii and using pi as 3.14 or 11th graders doing quadratics. Obviously with some of these kids with good foundation understanding this is teachable but many of these kids struggle with simple math.
Last week I tutored this area and cirmference sheet for the first time and I am not a teacher. I have my own side tutoring hustle but I set my own work and it is usually tailored towards specific students whereas the work the centre sets them is general. I also did not get the best early years teaching where most of the stuff I did was alone or at school but badly so I am not tbe most familiar with what kids are doing exactly at school. However I can deliver the material.
I looked at the questions and realised they were going to struggle. I realised it was best if they had calcs but they didn't so I told them to use pi as 3. Obviously this meant the mark scheme was not going to be usable as it used pi as 3 and though the answers will be close I used my calc on my phone to get the answes quickly as I had 5 mins to mark 25 questions on finding the area and circunference. One of the usual 'know it all' kids (sorry but this is exactly what the kid is) told me I was cheating and I explained that people use calcs all the time. They struggled through and got the answers wrong.
I talked to the parents of this child who said they don't use calcs in the exam to which I said she can use paper if she wants but these questions are really hard. Today my boss was lowkey annoyed with me. I didn't think it was a huge deal ad when I did SATs 10 years ago, we could use a calc in a paper. One of my colleagues who does English and socks up to the boss said a more experienced teacher would be able to teach quadratics to any 10-11 year old.
