I‘m changing my photo management and recently learned of Excire 2024.
Does anybody have experience in using Excire with platforms such as Immich/PhotoPrism for viewing and sharing photos?
I want to centrally host and view my photos, hence the idea. I’m thinking of the following workflow - photos are uploaded to, stored by and viewed on PhotoPrism by the users (my family) - excire is used on a PC at regular intervals to create metadata for new photos (facial recognition, labelling) - smart albums are created in PhotoPrism using the metadata created by Excire
I am aware I would be neglecting features of excire such as full text search, yet with Excire apparently not designed to host photos for a network, this appears to be an adequate compromise.
What are your thoughts / experiences with this or similar workflows? How do you host your photos?

 | Hi there Redditors, I am once again here to ask for design advice. This bag has been my biggest project so far. It is also my most "professional", as I decided on making an actual patron before jumping into the crafting. A very learning experience ! Now, here is the catch. My idea for the bag, was that the straps should be detachable. This way, thanks to the square binder, the schoolbag tuns into a messenger bag. The "twist 'n lock" work pretty well, the issue is with the other side. I tried both a carabiner and a "belt lock" (the one in pic) but, because of the bag's weigth I guess, the metal always ends up twisting. The carabiner got loose and opened up, and the "belt lock" 's teeth gets pushed through hole. Is it a flawed design or just a material issue? Any advice? Hi all, how often do you pump at night? I've been pumping every time she feeds but when my partner feeds her for the night I have bigger pumping gaps but never exceeding 5 hours. During the day i pump every 2 to 3 hours. I also throw in cluster pumping occasionally. I'm right by the 12 week mark and my supply at night is dropping. Is this normal? I've been trying to increase my supply for ages as I still supplement with formula... so this drop is sad. I only produce about an ounce an hour and she is on the higher end of milk consumption. I would love to be able to feed her 100% breast milk but it's just not happening.

I was groomed by a narc mom since childhood to accept mistreatment and accept I was not worthy.
I married a narc man and stayed with him for over 20 years. During this time, he shattered my identity and self-worth with every kind of abuse you can imagine.
Finally my eyes opened and I saved enough to flee. The stars aligned and he got bored enough to find new supply and lined her up after our divorce.
Now I am free, struggling alone with finances, finding a permanent home, our teen children, and regaining my self-worth. It’s been so tough.
He gives no financial support or offers any parenting to our children. He’s alienated all but one who still sees him. I am no contact with him.
After close to 5 years free now and I still feel like broken woman, despite regular counselling and attempts at self-care. If not for my children needing me, I would have ended it a long time ago.
Everyone around us is an enabler or a narc. I’ve been cutting people off and there’s barely anyone left. Online friends have stayed true, of that I am grateful, because the narcs haven’t been able to touch them.
How did you heal and how long did it take?

Hi everyone!
I had my first ultrasound yesterday at 5 weeks and 5 days. It implanted in an "eccentric" place but they were able to see a gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole measuring 2mm. They were really excited to see the fetal pole. After I got home from my ultrasound, I started spotting. It's mainly just when I wipe I notice a small amount of light red/brownish blood. Do you think this is a reason to be concerned? It seems like a weird coincidence that I would start spotting after my vaginal ultrasound if it wasn't related, right?
