I’m currently renting and living in an apartment where I’ve been struggling with a persistent noise come from my building ductwork system. There’s ductwork located directly beneath my unit (likely part of the building’s ventilation or air circulation system), and it runs 24/7 with a constant noise that ranges between 60-65 dB based on measurements I’ve taken using a noise level app. At its peak, it goes even higher, making it impossible to ignore.
The noise is particularly bothersome at night, affecting my sleep, and I’ve started to notice discomfort in my ears (not sure if it’s directly related, but the timing is suspicious).
I’m thinking about reporting the issue to my building management, but I’m unsure how to approach it effectively.
- Have you dealt with loud ductwork or constant mechanical noise in an apartment? How did you handle it?
- Do you think these noise levels are legally acceptable for a residential environment?

I don’t even play LoL or watch arcane but I had a bit of knowledge about the characters.
Whoever designed powdejinx made her look and act exactly like my ex. What I mean by exactly is from hair color to face, from height to way she acts. I came across those sad edits of final episodes. It hit me so hard I couldn’t breathe for a minute, felt the adrenaline pump I was wide awake in horror for a while then I started crying in pain. Looking at the story behind made it even worse.
Then I googled and found out Jinx has bpd. :(
