I started my spiritual journey when I was 15, I started to be interested in psychic stuff, and spiritual so my mother got a book. Even though I had been experimenting a while back. This happened in my childhood spiritually. One time when I was 4 my grand parents had allowance system in the summer and I gather a load of coins. I was always the type of kid to climb every wall I came across or run. So me having change fall out of my pocket was annoying. Solution I realized I needed a wallet, I never said anything to my family nothing just in my mind. And my grandparents took me to a farmer's market and a store near the market had a coin wallet, when I saw it I'm like that's my wallet! It's kind of a funny story that part but not a need for this post, if you want to know I'll share later. I even have that wallet as a memory but don't use it anymore. That wallet is so me and it's just funny now. But why is it that when I thought about something even though I never said it to anyone I would have it later or in a very short time. A number of stories happened like that which is what fuelled my interest in spiritually/spiritual forces. When I was in high school I would always get the newspaper to do the sudoku, it happened to be the same page as horoscopes and I would read it for fun. The thing is when ever I would read my horoscope I always knew exactly what it was talking about, the more a bit weirder was my school had Chinese food and when I opened my fortune cookie it aligned so well where I was in my life, I showed it to my teacher and she said that's perfect for you. There were many fortune cookies out of all how did I end up with that. So when I turned to Christianity I'm like if horoscopes kind of know things about me, and I was never someone to tell people my desires or anything so it's weird how horoscopes seemed to know things that I wouldn't tell anyone, so conclusion there must be some forces in this world. And I choose Almighty God now, Christ and the Holy Spirit. The point of this post I've realized that I don't think God would ever give me or anyone something they couldn't handle and not far from what you've got in mind if it aligns with God's will. So for us it's falling into this cycle. But I believe it goes with all aspects of life even though anger and this sucks does come into my mind. He's in charge no matter what. People may not like me for saying that. I also read a lot and studied the law of attraction from the new age in my 20's, I believed it and tried it for myself. Think it to be and it will happen well not everything we think of happens or speaking things into existence. I believe only God can do that. But here is the thing in the law of attraction it sounds good like think about what you want, believe it and receive it. They also tell you to practice on small things and then work your way and if you don't it's because you don't believe enough. Well I'll use one of my tries on this when I was studying this. I love ladybugs so I'm like okay I'd like to "attract that". But like so many other people my age and many want things like receiving financial/materialistic things, money is a large topic there isn't any shortage online many go and ask the teacher how they can win the lotto or whatever. Well low in behold a lady bug was on the door of my apartment building the same day I wanted to "manifest". But financial stuff nope and then are told we don't believe it and is resistant so it's not coming in. And what they said isn't true I mean I've never manifested everything I thought and thank goodness for that. Well I came to know and believe God is in charge whether I know it or not, or believe it or not, or like it or not. And money is not of God. Jesus before He was prosecuted. Jesus said who's face is this on the coin, everyone said Caesar's. Well who's face is on the money you have, I can say it's not God or Jesus's it's either a king, queen or president of this world. And Jesus said to keep things of God and things of Caesar's or who ever separate. Yes in this world unfortunately it is you need it and God can and provides but not when you ask from Him like a genie. Also one thing I've come to realize God is father. I'll use myself as an example when I was in school I had to go by transit and my parents would give me allowance and money for the bus. Now I knew full well that the money for the bus was for the bus and if I had decided to spend it to go out with friends well. My parents wouldn't be happy, rightly so and then they would say okay will give you another chance and if I spend it out with friends again, they may say okay we will go with you to the bus station and buy it with you or buy them and hand me the tickets at home. I gradually would lose privileges right. Because I was given money and not spending it on what my parents provided for (my father here). God is the same in some sense He just is saying I'm not ready and things are in His will not yours even if you want it so. So if God provides me with income and I don't spend it or use it in the way I said, what will happen He may decide I'm not ready just like my parents would have. He that is faithful in that which is least is also faithful in much. However it is not always the person's fault. I started investing last year, learned more about budgeting and really grew and matured in some sense in that way this last year. I started doing surveys to make extra and on a good month I could get maybe $10-20 and sometimes 30/month. Now every time I get income. Those who have a paycheque get paid every other week most of the time. Around the time you get paid, has anyone noticed how more ads, scams, and things that you would pay money for are more frequent even if you don't tell anyone you got paid. Like no one says it's paycheque day on social media anymore nobody and not a lot care unless special times. I never said I got paid today and yet things that would be a temptation are higher. In elementary school ever noticed how if you have a snack everyone likes suddenly you are their best friend but when you have things not worth looking at they don't care about you at all. When you get income forces, people etc are suddenly interested. The enemy comes to seek, kill and destroy. Pay attention for the next few months and see how many ads you get around the time when you get paid vs when it you are half way and then next cycle. So when God provides me with blessings I said I would budget, invest more etc. And you have to follow through which is hard and it's difficult with the spiritual forces. Like my father here with the bus money would take it away. God just says you're not ready. I'm actually happy that I didn't get what I asked for in my 20's because I know I would have been stupid and I'm okay to say that. And I know now when following the law of attraction and say I want to be a billionaire ( I have never said that but heard others) or whatever especially with things you care more about, I'm pretty sure I care a lot less about whether I see a lady bug vs me being financially independent and free. But also spiritual forces don't care about a lady bug, but the enemy knows I need income whether I like it or not. That has nothing to do will level of belief.

2024.11.28 19:53 Duskspire Resetting nest to factory settings without Heat Link
I've had a new heating system fitted which comes with its own system, so want to do a factory reset on my nest to pass/sell it on.
The heatlink was disconnected when the system was replaced, and so the thermostat wants to connect to something which no longer rhas power and only provides buttons to do that. So I can't access the settings menu to where the instructions say the factory reset is located.
Does anyone have any options for me to do a reset without the heatlink being active?

For example: I thought Lockhart was going to be the heir of Slytherin when I read it for the first time, and I was waiting for him to reveal himself as the heir of Slytherin while Harry and Ron were leading him into the chamber, and I thought here we are heās going to reveal himself when he picked up Ronās broken wand.
I thought Bagman put Harryās name in the goblet of fire and was working for Voldemort, I think he was the obvious red herring in GOF (along with crouch sr)
I suspected right that Umbridge sent the dementors, but I believed that either she or Lucius had put fudge under an imperious curse. Especially since in POA he was so worried Sirius could bring Voldemort back to suddenly saying heās dead no chance itās lies.
Tell me your thoughts when you first read the books/watched the films. Will be interesting.
