Brand new Vivobook 15S with already used SSD ? https://preview.redd.it/xxe1nlmx6p3e1.png?width=822&format=png&auto=webp&s=d0d973c8e77dbb6da3fe9a9ea1d7a224e215c23a
So I just bought a Vivobook S15 with a 1TB SSD and immediatly ran a SMART analysis when I started it to check the SSD state and make sure it was brand new. I realized the SSD already had 6h of run time and 16 startups + about 160GB of read-write which was kinda ok considering factory tests and stuff (even though 16 startups seems a lot). But today, I used my laptop almost all day long at school and decided to run a new test tonight, here it is... My laptop was on all day long and went to sleep like 2 times, how is it possible to have such high startup count (221) ? Is there something I missed or anything ? Thank you !

2024.11.28 20:00 giraffeflyinghigh thinking about redoing the shrimp tank for christmas

thinking about redoing the shrimp tank for christmas so looking on this subreddit I really love the designs of yalls tanks and now Im thinking about rescaping it as well, but I have some questions I wanna ask:
• Could I add aquarium soil and if I can tell me how to set it up • If I cant add aquarium soil tell me some good plants I could have that don’t require it (except for anubias or any plant that ties up to driftwood or whatever) • Some good light reccomendations • Some good carpet plants (if I get aquarium soil) • Some fish I could get for it, thinking about getting endler guppies or normal guppies • If I get fish how to stop the shrimp fry from being eaten • How I could hide the filter & heater to make it look more natrual • How to keep moss on driftwood
Stocking: 2 Guppy Fry 3 Black Rose Neocaradina Shrimp
Tank & Filter: 27 litre 30x30x30 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08SK2YCLY/ref=ox_sc_act_image_3?smid=A2SH1P919834WM&psc=1

2024.11.28 20:00 digitalselfcare Weight Loss Exercises For Beginners

Weight Loss Exercises For Beginners Most of us live our lives like caged animals. We are built to move around, but a lot of time we put ourselves in a cage. Our bodies are designed for racing across the savannas, but we live a lifestyle meant for moving from the bedroom to the breakfast table, to the car seat, to the office chair, to the restaurant booth, to the living room couch, and back to the bedroom.
Our daily responsibilities of work and home keep us attached to our chairs, and if we want to exercise, we have to plan for it.
Health experts insist that the obesity problem is likely caused as much by lack of physical activity as by eating too much, therefore, exercise is essential to our lives.
But, it does not mean that a lap around the block will remove a daily consumption of donuts. Just exercising alone is not efficient, experts say. They argue that if one only exercises and does not change his or her diet, one may be able to stop weight gain or may even lose a few pounds, but it is not something that one is likely to keep up unless exercise is part of an overall program. The more exercise becomes your regular habit, the easier it is to maintain one's weight.
Here is what to do daily to make sure you get the exercise you need.

  1. Get Quality Sleep.
  2. Walking.
  3. Jogging or Running.
  4. Cycling.
  5. Swimming.
There are lots of exercises that can help you lose weight, it's most important to choose the one you enjoy doing, which will make it most likely for you to stick to it for the long term and see the results you are hoping for.

Just spent a nice few days in Copperhill / McCaysville, which is right on border with Tennessee. Cute little downtown with some nice places to eat on the river. Under 2 hour drive from Atlanta. Recommend it if looking for a quick holiday getaway. Blue Ridge seems to get the attention, but I liked this area too.
