One of the bigger problems with women's soccer is that it's hard to jerk off to. The women are often not very attractive, and the ones that are wear too much clothes. The camera is always zoomed in too little, so even if they got attractive female soccer players and changed what they wore, it still wouldn't be a good female sport.
Obviously female soccer will never measure up to the greats of female sports, like pole vaulting and figure skating, but it could do much better. By having a smaller playing field that allowed the camera to get closer it would also have the added benefit of people not having to wait as players slowly jog across the field.

Keep in mind, I write things only occasionally, when I feel like it. So far, I've wrote a dozen short stories (only one of which was published) (the publication basically accepts anyone) and written 3 half novels. However, I read a lot, and something I've noticed that bothers me in books: I want the main character to have agency.
If the main character is essentially just dragged around the whole story, it makes me way less interested. For example, the classic story where you have am everyman protagonist who's the chosen one, but he has to be essentially dragged through the story by a way more competent side character. Whenever I read that, and the main character does essentially nothing, (frequently except whine) I get frustrated with them, and feel like they should get left behind.
That's not to say that they have to be good at combat, or that they can't panic, freak out, or otherwise act realistically, I just want to see them do something. If for example, you have an accountant transported to a fantasy world, maybe they use their skills to trace money and uncover a conspiracy, or maybe they're just really brave, and even if they can't fight, can give a critical push one way or another.
Again, this is just my personal taste, and theres no wrong way to write a story. Lots of classics have little to no plot for the main character to have agency over. Also, I'm pretty sure a lot of the people on here have the opposite issue, making it so that their MC is the only one that matters.

I read of parents sharing night shifts (6 hrs for mom and 6 hrs for dad at night). To parents doing this, can you still maintain your breastmilk supply if you miss 1-2 feedings/pumping at night while husband takes the night shift taking care of baby?

Accidental Landlord Here. Renting my flat via Consent to Let from Nationwide. The mortgage is £712 until July 2027.
My 1 bed flat is up for contract renewal. It's in London, Zone 4. The current rent is £1,400. Service charge £2k per year. I self-manage the property (No managing agent).
The tenant has been great. Paid rent on time. Communication has been during the day. No calls or messages in the silly hours.
In the past 3 months, 1-bed flats have been advertised for £1,500. 2 days ago, a 1-bed flat has been advertised for £1,600.
My tenant earns £110k (Tech) and his max affordability is £3,666 according to his references via the Openrent platform.
I'm really happy with the tenant and want to keep him long-term and happy to keep him as long as possible. However, as my mortgage rate is expected to rise in 2027 and with rents increasing in the area, and not wanting to suddenly increase the rent in 2027, what would be a reasonable amount to increase the rent? (if I decided to do so)
(For further context, when advertising my flat in Nov/Dec 2023 - I had 70 messages enquiring about renting my flat)

So I've been trying to get a low interest long term loan because i recently got stuck in a high interest quick loan sink hole. I keep getting blown up by ovine calls, texts, and emails for loan options but that's how I got in this situation cause they claimed to be better loans and weren't. Anyways, I got in touch with someone claiming to be "cashnet USA" but he only asked for access to my bank account with my sign in info.... never asked for any other verifications of name or employment or anything...als9 when he answered all he said was "hello?" he's saying that they will give me a $10,000 loan, but first they will send me $800 that I then have to send back to them to "verify I'm the only one using the account" and my $10,000 will then be automatically deposited. He gave me three options, I can either withdrawl it and send it to him via Walmart (cant remember exactly how he said), I can withdraw it and send it another route ( again can't quite remember how he said), or if can send it via cashapp. Now this just seems odd to me and I'm afraid I might be falling for a scam. I've already given him access to my account but being that is Thanksgiving it can't happen till tomorrow...idk what else to do but ask if this is a scam so I can shut my account down if need be.

Question - Apologies, I could not figure out how to properly post a "Question" post here!
I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, much closer to NE Ft Worth. I have Adrenal Insufficiency. My adrenal insufficiency was managed with 10mg Cortef for almost 20 years with no issues (maybe four episodes of increased taper doseage for illness/surgeries that I can remember.) At that time I did not have an endo, just a PCP. I saw an endo who said no need for management through me. Again, 20 years ago.
After 2018, my entire life changed. I had multiple bladder procedures under anethesia, had gallbladder surgery, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis/NMOSD, had six back and neck procedures under anesthesia, had a hysterectomy, had bladder stimulator surgery and subsequent redo of surgery, had a nerve stimulator implant that became infected and had to be redone twice, was bit by a dog that required stitches and laser procedures, and now have ongoing rashes and infections.
Bloodwork taken earlier this year (March 2024) while on 10mg Cortef suggested extremely low Cortisol and low ACTH.
I went into Adrenal crisis twice earlier this year (March and May 2024) and Cortef no longer works for me. To relive symptoms, I started taking 30mg Cortef but no relief of symptoms. I was referred to an endocrinologist by a kidney doctor in May 2024 that put me on prednisone equivalent doseage to the Cortef. We have since tried to lower the dose (20mg to 17mg to 15mg to 10mg), but my symptoms continue worsening, along with continued bloodwork with low cortisol, low ACTH, low chloride. I have never had some other tests (ACTH Stim, CRH, renin, aldosterone, MRI, etc). Adrenal antibodies continually come back negative.
Endocrinologist finally got to a place in early Nov where she said she could no longer help me and believed mine was a complicated case that needed a "specialist". She referred me to UTSW with a letter to the doctor and rationale, etc. She thinks the MS affected either my pituitary or adrenal functioning, or both.
I saw new endo doctor 27 Nov 2024. New endo did not review any old bloodwork, letter from old endo etc. She also would not listen to a thing I said and was convinced I had suppressed my adrenals with prednisone. She would only parrot verbiage out of text books that the clinical doseage is 5mg prednisone and I must lower my dose, while I was sitting there begging for her help as to why my body was requiring more. After going round and round three times and my husband stepping in, she admitted that there are people that absorb prednisone differently and also people that require other medications. At this point, I am just looking for a better doctor that will listen and help!
Sorry for the novel but that felt good to get out!
TL,DR: Does anyone know of a GOOD adrenal-focused endocrinologist in the DFW area? Cash pay is not a problem if necessary. I just want to be able to work with someone that is kind and will talk things out.

I tried setting up a Garmin Run Coach 10k with virtual event in 15 weeks. At the beginning the suggested trainings for the upcoming days are in sync between watch and app. After doing a couple of trainings or skipping days with training the suggested trainings in the app and watch get out of sync. Device is synced just fine and even changes in run Coach settings like days for long runs are synced just fine. But the proposed trainings per day are different. That is somehow annoying looking in the app what kind of training is up this day and when starting the training with the watch it tells you something different (base vs. sprint vs. long run...). Any suggestions???

My partner and I are getting hitched! We’ve run into a weird area with housing and wanted to get some thoughts on it from the community. My partner owns their own house prior to our relationship. They bought it themselves and have handled all costs (mortgage, utilities, etc) related to the house since. I’m just renting another place currently and before I move in / we get married, I wanted to explore how we could split the housing costs.
I was originally thinking of that they would just keep their equity in the house and I could just live there and cover other expenses (groceries, etc). That would have protected their investment a bit more. But the whole cost of the mortgage on one person is really eating my partner’s finances and they can’t contribute as much to joint things (like vacations and our wedding) due to the costs. So I’ve pitched me joining in the house payments and them sharing equity with me with the hopes that this frees up their ability to contribute on other things in the long run. Plus, I would lose my first time home buying status and I’m hoping to get some ownership here.
Is there a fair way to do this? Wondering if a 80/20 split is possible or scalable over time? Has anyone encountered a similar situation? I’m sure we can explore more with lawyers / prenump agreements but didn’t want to go into that blind.
