2024.11.28 20:50 Tumnus1337 Flame Tamer falling off

I’ve got a pro 1600 and a flame tamer from smoke like a boss. Any tips to get it to stay on? If I move the grill a little it shakes loose. Also, if I use the clean out at the bottom it will come off then too. Any tips?

2024.11.28 20:50 Boring-Lab3151 Is it okay to go no contact with a friend even if they didn’t hurt you specifically?

This may be one of these questions that answer themselves but I’m looking for some reassurance. My pwBPD is a close friend of 11 years. We met in when we were doing the same course in college and have been inseparable. He has never in any way abusive to me, in fact the opposite he was a very attentive and caring friend.
The problem is to put it simply is he acts fucking lunatic towards other people. Anything crazy you can think of he’s done. Overdosed on coke and painkillers and assaulted police officers who were only called to a&e because he was abusive to staff and somehow got away with a caution and a fine. He threw boiling hot coffee in someone’s face for making a joke about his weight? Like it’s horrible to body shame someone but still wtf?? Since being very young he engages in criminal acts, from possession of huge amount of drugs, drink driving on a suspended licence all the way to shoplifting and fraud. He has absolutely no morals. “i only feel empathy a couple people in my life and cats everyone else can fuck of idc if they live or die” were his exact words. He admitted chaos excites him and he offers a distraction away from his life. The thing that annoys me he is SO self aware but doesn’t want to change because he likes his life the way it is, I mean I’m not surprised because they never seems to be consequences for his actions. I just feel his actions are becoming more and more unhinged
I gave him a lot of allowances and grace because of the abuse he faced in his childhood and the lack of parental guidance. The thing is I feel like a villain for going no contact when he’s: helped me out financially when I went through homeless , always been there for emotional support no matter the time of day just a call away and we’ve just had a lot of good times I don’t. I have to say I suspect he has aspd too but I know I’m a professional so who knows? He even makes jokes regularly about how much of a psycho he is (his words) he seems almost proud of it. It’s quite disturbing..
To make things worst I’ve lost a few friends simply for remaining friends with him. It’s not fair on me but he said they were never friends to begin with. Coming on here on a fake account looking for advice. I guess I never had the typical “bpd experience” I’ve seen on this for years hence why I’m so divided. Why is it so hard for him just to be a decent person? I’ve even said it’s okay not like everyone and keep your circle small but you can’t just abuse people because you don’t like them.

Hello, I hope someone on here can help me, I just received my KLC and I have been trying to install nickelmenu, Nickelclock and KOReader on my new device. I managed to troubleshoot and install nickelmenu and Nickelclock as most of the installation guides are geared towards windows but I have hit a roadblock with installing KOReader as mac will not run the install script as it's not from a verified source. Is there any other war to instal it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance🙂

I’m honestly at a loss on how to take care of my hair. It’s taken a long time for my hair to return their natural curl and now that it has it’s two different types. One half of my hair is (I think) a 2C and the other half is a 2B regardless how much I scrunch when it’s wet. I need it low maintenance because honestly I’m scatterbrained and hopefully can build up to a more detailed hair care regime.
Additional info: I have recently had a balayage, thinning of my very thick (and is still too thick if you ask me), and layers cut in my hair to reduce the weight but it hasn’t helped. I’m prone to frizz big time. I suffer from an oily scalp too so I try to avoid oils - however my hair line does get really dry.
