The large runner on the right is what most of our buffalo lawn looks like but bare patches are being aggressively filled by the much finer runners pictured on the left.
The leaves on the smaller runners are a much deeper shade of green but the stems are the same shade of purple.
Is it a different type of grass?

I just bought a G29, first time ever owning a wheel, the F1 Peddles are fine but I want to get a shifter. I don’t really know should I buy a EBay shifter for 50-60€ or buy the normal g29 shifter? Don’t know is their a difference between them but just want to know if one is better then the other. I play normally Assetto Corsa, CarX Race….etc just got it a few days ago just wanted to know what should I save up for! Thank you

Few months ago it was post after post about how awful titans was. People constantly crying that titans needed a full top down remake.
All it took was a few roaming super and melee buffs now Titans are too OP.
Now I guess it's warlocks time to complain. Not like anything has changed, Warlock mains just saw clips of Titans soloing GMs, and now are malding.
In a few months Hunters will start crying.
Then Titans. Then this cycle repeats itself.

2024.11.28 20:50 MoosefaceReddit XP-PEN Artist 12 Pen Display (2nd Gen) screen always says "No Signal" when I turn it on, but the pen is working with my PC just fine. (Windows 11) (Connected via USB-C)
I purchased a new Artist 12 Pen Display (2nd Gen) on Amazon during the Black Friday sales. I also purchased an XP-PEN USB-C to USB-C cable along with it.
I plugged it into my PC's USB-C port, put the other end into the drawing tablet, the light turns from orange to blue, boots up and then says "No Signal", but the tablet itself responds to the pen perfectly, moving the cursor on my PC monitor as if I'm using my mouse, and yet no visuals on the drawing tablet itself.
After it says "No Signal", the blue light turns orange, which I'm assuming is sleep/rest mode.
I have tried the cables that came with the box, nothing. I have tried turning it off and on again, nothing. I have changed my display settings, nothing. I have searched all over this very subreddit, nothing.
It has been over six hours, and I'm starting to get a little concerned as to why this is not showing any sort of visuals after turning on other than the message "No Signal".
PLEASE tell me I am just being stupid and the answer is staring me in the face. This is really frustrating.

2024.11.28 20:50 Complete-Brick7506 Laptop upgrade for davinci free 1080p workflow?
Hello, I'm a developer who does teaching on the side, I'm decently versed with Resolve, but while I'm still improving and learning on the workflow to optimize time, which I don't have much, I need some improvements, I think, hardware wise.
Now to put my expectations on the table, I mostly do, 1080p 30-60 frames videos, which mix VO, screen recordings (mp4 from OBS) and pictures. Obviously some titles and transitions.
Currently my old gaming laptop is still doing a decent-ish job for this, having a 4800H, a 2060@90W, and 32 gigs DDR4@2666, but it's heavy, and battery is halved since Asus does poor battery management.
Looking at an upgrade, I looked and looked at many youtubers who do all sorts of tests, but I still can't tell if it's worth grabing a Windows machine vs an entry level mac.
I'm looking to dish out ~1500$ so, I'm stuck between: * Gaming laptop with a 8845HS 4060 32DDR5 * MacBookAir M3 with 16gigs * Arm windows laptop which simply doesn't justify price/performance/anything
Keep in mind, EU prices are not US prices, we have VAT 25% ish, and deals here are meh. I need emulation given some educational software uses windows, else I would just go with Linux.
I know I could wait till March for M4 Air, considering it, given the ok-ish performance of the macMini base model M4

2024.11.28 20:50 Proper_Ad_7931 Tips for running in cold weather?
I started running inside last winter and moved to running outside once spring started properly, so I don't have any prior experience running during the wintein the cold. I've been really struggling with my runs for the past few weeks now that it has started to get colder. First of all I'm blowing through way more water per km than I'm used even though it's cold outside. Secondly, my nose gets running and my throat feels raw from the cold air. Currently the temperature is around 0°C, but it's usually around -10°C, sometimes colder when winter sets in. (Used to be colder, but has been warmer the past few years).
The problem is I signed up for my first race ever at the end of december. So, my question is this, do you have any tips for dealing with the cold air when running in the cold? I'm usually not cold when I'm running, but my breathing feels heavier than usual and my throat hurts. Also, is it normal for short distances to feel like they're much longerthan they actually are in cold weather? Before the cold weather set in I was running between 10-15 km at least once a week plus usuallu two more shorter runs(5 - 10km), but now I'm tired after less than 5km run at a much slower pace than I'm used to. Is this normal?
