This thing rocks when you're walking around the city or have to walk your dog in the bitter cold. I've worn just a t-shirt with this jacket in the winter and I felt warm. This jacket has been discontinued and replaced by the Nuuk Parka but folks feel like the Barents was a better jacket in terms of fit (Nuuk was a slimmer fit, harder to layer underneath) and material (Barents G-1000 canvas seemed more durable than the Nuuk's polyamide fabric).
