Every normal PC game runs fine, but SteamVR is unplayable in every game Iâve tried because of the stuttering. I play on Quest 3S, and Iâve tried virtual desktop and Steam Link, both having the same issue. But Iâve watched the gameplay on my pc and I know that it isnât internet/quest related because the stuttering and fps drops happen on my pc screen as well. My specs are below:
CPU: i9-12900k GPU: RX 6800 RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000
Iâve tried changing resolution scaling in SteamVR settings but that doesnât help and I know it should stay at 100%. Iâve looked around for answers, and people say to disable hardware accelerated gpu scheduling, which isnât a setting for me (trust me Iâve tried, it just doesnât exist). So Iâm having to make my first ever Reddit post at this point because I really want to enjoy my new Quest with PCVR. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all!
I'm not sure if homelab environments with second-hand gear are welcome here, if not please ignore my post or let me know to delete it.
I've noted that the PSU fan keeps spinning at full speed after boot, while the chassis fans spin at the minimal rate and wanted to know if this is normal for the EX3400 PSUs, or if's because of my setup. This happens with one or both PSUs installed and active. I have an EX3400-24P, which according to the Juniper docs uses the JPSU-600-... PSUs, however I installed JPSU-920-AC-AFO (that the -48P uses), which would be one possible cause. If someone has the 600W one running, could you please let me know if the fan is at full speed after boot?
One thing I'd also like to add, the PSUs themself use the PMBus interface, based on I2C. I managed to access it in U-Boot, and I can successfully read the registers of the PSU, however writing to the fan register seems to get ignored. If someone has any hints or ideas, please let me know.

We JUST had our first baby 5 weeks ago. We have the Cybex Cloud G Lux infant car seat right now.
We've always had it in our mind to get the Clek Foonf Car Seat when he was older.. but it's on sale for Black Friday right now. But I know it has a 9-year life limit, but more specifically a 1-year warranty.
I don't fully understand when babies transition from one car seat to another. I see recommended ages, but then read blog posts where people say different things. And the age ranges are gigantic too.
Should we pick up the Foonf now when it's on sale, and just have it sitting around? Or.. just end up waiting till next year Black Friday to see (hopefully) buying it then. In my mind it kinda depends on when I'll be wanting to move from the infant to convertible car seat...
