2 years ago I made a choice to stop but it was just for the benefits I heard so much about for a boost in drive to landing a girl. I wish I set better intentions. I started feeling better since I wasn't giving in to urges. I started going out more with people and not just being social at work. I met someone that wasn't available and we both liked the same things but I wasnt thinking anything more of it.
She got my number from someone else and was texting me first about the interests in common, then more casual things and I stayed respectful even though deep in my mind I was sexualizing her. She always texted first, invited me to things with people and eventually by ourselves. The whole time I'm convincing myself she's just nice and I would never do anything anyways, shes hot but thats not me. After a few more times, she got borderline aggressive with the touching, drinking and trauma dumping about her current bf, then charming me with praise and teasing me until I gave out after 43 days retaining.
I was ashamed but I kept doing it, pretending we cared for eachother and kept it a secret from everyone. It wasn't a real relationship, she was insanely manipulative and i was using her too. Should have left, should have realized what I was doing and started to build myself again but I was lost in it until it burned out and could think again. My bad intentions mixed with my urges made me lack self control to the point even morals can be overlooked. Ive been cheated on before, it sucks and i never thought id be in this position. It didn't feel calculated or the right thing it was exactly like how a relapse happens, paying no mind, then entertaining thoughts then getting too close to the fire until the last second and you give in impulsively and regret not being able to control yourself or start another bender. It was a hard lesson learned for me that I was just trying to find another way to cum and indulge an addiction even though I didn't realize it at the time

Hi, I know everyone is probably tired of the turkey questions, but I would appreciate some input. Just temped our turkey after resting it for ~30 min (not spatchcocked) and it's reading 165+ in the breast, 160ish in the thighs. I know the thighs need to be at a higher temperature to be good, but I don't want to sacrifice the other parts. Any thoughts?

I am currently planning on purchasing a TOD10N as my second guitar as I am a massive Tim Henson fan and I love the sound of a classical nylon guitar. I am aware that it won’t have crazy projection since it’s a thinline guitar but I am still curious if it has a pretty decent sound unplugged? Also I have heard a lot about quality control issues and I’m curious from anyone who has bought one recently if those issues are still a concern. I also really like the tree of death fretboard inlays. Overall, with all things considered is it still worth buying?

Hey guys I stopped smoking the reefa for 3 months now. It feels great. I stopped my other bad habits also. Best i not say. Feels good.
I started praying more often. Somehow.. It was so hard. Normally I'd be sitting on the sofa and skipping and being lazy. Pray that I do it more often. Yesterday I done 4/5 prayers on time. I missed the first one. I didn't replace it though but I hope I can carry this on. I wanna start praying on time more and more even though my job will be in the way.

So I am seeing claims from people saying "It is natural for us to believe in God" "Our Mind is designed to believe in God" "God intended us to be believers that is why most people are religious".
Is all this true?
In my case it doesn't seem to be. I never consciously made a decision to not believe, it simply never occurred to me in the first place, it is not like I believed in God by birth and became a non believer later on. When someone asks me if God exists or not, I simply say idk or "God knows" as a pun. I don't argue with anyone about it.
Like everyone the question of "what is reality?" did occur to me and at one point I got into non-dual theories and all, but not strictly speaking a theistic thought.
