I got the bow gun to 7.1 and felt it was doing ok. Went on MHNquest and saw it was significantly weaker than bow. I've been grinding out rath claws hardcore. Got it to 7.1 and.....lackluster against 2* great jagras. How trusted/accurate is MHNquest? I assume it's more my skill level making the difference, but when I try bows I don't feel as powerful. Even with my daora bow vs leggy HBG.

My main questions concern how we approach punctuation these days: do periods go inside quote marks and parenthesis? Is it better to use "that" or "who," and does it much matter? Questions like that.

Pls help, most times i am disconnected after 30 mins or an hour, always error code 0x10001023 and when i deliver legendary bounties error 0x21002100 (i think) plays up. Most of my delivered bounties arent actually paid, and i dont receive XP for most of them too. I probably could be around lvl 18 right now or more with more than 300 cash for sure, but im currently lvl 14 and my money is 100. Im getting really pissed because i spend time trying to correct these mistakes, because the game is cool, but really buggy. I play on ps4.

About the gift players will get on holidays and stuff It's cool, but I found it too OP for new accounts.
I suggest adding a minimum stat for players to claim the stuff, of around level 50 or skill 75.
About MP and low mobs For fun, I started a new account today and I got some small complains:
- Players start with way too few MP There could be an increase in the amount of mana players start of around 100 or 150MP. Starters can't use their special attacks well because of the low MP they start with.
- Mobs are way too slow I suggest uncreasing the speeds of most low mobs to around 250.
Just some small suggestions :)

2024.11.28 23:38 Consistent-Post-2297 part of the reason why new videogames aren't as good is because they are not new.
I am going to talk about battlefield because I played a shit ton of bf3 and 4 in my early teens but I feel like this can be applied to any game franchise. Back in 2011 through 2014 we were all younger, the games were huge technological advancements. Bf3 specifically graphically and gameplay wise was light-years ahead of every shooter. We haven't yet put hundreds and thousands of hours into our favorite franchises. Now whnever a new game comes out in your favorite franchise because you are now older and have sunk time into the franchises previous releases the new game will feel kind of stale in comparison or if they change some aspects of the game you might even not like it because you have put so much time into the previous game which was something you liked. Also back to battlefield 3 and 4 because we were all younger when playing those games we haven't had thousands of hours built up playing battlefield 2 and 2142. I remember when battlefield 3 and 4 were the mainline games the people who grew up playing those games were coming about 3 and 4 and they gave many of the same reasons why we dont like v and 2042. For them the same amount of time has passed between when bf2 and bf3 came out to when bf3 came out to when 2042 came out which is also interesting.

I've been thinking: where's the line drawn between manipulation and "not" manipulation? It seems to me that everyone manipulates everyone all the time. For example if you see a woman you fancy at the bar. You'll go over, buy her a drink, whatever it may be. You use your words, actions, to produce a desired result, I.e her going out with you.
That opened the question: is convincing someone a form of manipulation? After some reading I'd say yes or no, depending on how you look at it. Convincing someone is using the tools at your disposal in a passive manner, which is supposed to advance the interests of all parties involved, or at least leave some neutral. It involves guiding someone to making a decision that positively impacts you or someone else. As long as they are willingly making the decision.
Seems manipulation is where it negatively impacts the subject. It involves power dynamics, where one person has leverage over the other and will use it against them, the practice being overall detrimental to the subject, if not immediately. For example if I kidnapped my neighbours dog and was about to punt it off the bridge, I could emotionally force their hand and make them do something for me. Sure it's persuading them to do it but through different means.
I coined two terms for the two aforementioned circumstances: Passive manipulation and exploitative manipulation respectively. The difference between the two is determined by how it affects the concerned parties, either short term or long term.
