2024.11.29 01:29 Frans4Life dusting shelves, more efficent way to move items to reach shelf?
i've been tasked with dusting store shelves, so they're all pretty full and i have to move all the stock off before i can clean which is 80% of the effort. apart from doing halves, ie remove half the stock, clean, shuffle remaining half over, clean, replace, is there a better way of doing this? i thought maybe a rigid flat surface to scoop and lift stock would work but i dont know how to describe it to search if theres a specialised tool that already exists.

Playing the game today just kind of trying to get all the Collectibles after beating the story, and I was flying in the kojimi orbit, and randomly she said this. I flew around in circles for a little while trying to figure out what the heck she was talking about but never saw anything. The nebula itself? I could see that I guess but I thought she would have said it earlier and not just at some random time way later. Is there something alive in the nebula?

Absolutely ZERO desire to drive out tomorrow, but at the same time, I don't want to waste the day. I want to get done normal errands and maybe normal purchases, but without Karen complaining about a price tag not matching an ad or the long wait lines.
Not expecting any response honestly. Just lamenting. With so much online purchasing, I feel like the craze to buy cheap on 1 day seems exhausting. I'll admit, I've taken advantage of a few good deals for essentials like shoes. And if my grocery store ever offers 50%+ off, I'm there! But I'm not going to fight the crowd for most of this stuff. It’s such a simple phrase isn’t it? Those three words define so much of our life, from the classroom, to job training and even to our closest of relationships, it’s amazing the influence this phrase has.
But now? It just feels like a chain. I feel shackled by my lack of knowledge on what to do, wanting desperately to change, be better, be someone that I can be proud of. Yet I just don’t know how. It’s ironic for the people pleaser, they who sacrifice every aspect of their personality and being for the benefit of others, to not know how to love. For who is so blessed by life, to have a house over my head, good food to be shared around, and a bright mind that can change the world, it’s so crushing to not know why I’m even here. If you asked why I feel this way, why I’m so stuck in my head, paralyzed by indecision, it must hurt to hear “I don’t know.”
I try so hard, every single day to make their lives better off, to make everyone in my life better off than when I met them. I didn’t ask to be born yet I’ll be damned if I don’t try to live it to the fullest. I work hard, or at least I’ve convinced myself I do, and I know at the end of the day that I will be successful in finding a way to support myself. And yet I ask will it matter? All the riches I’m bound to have, and yet none to share it with.
I don’t know why I’m writing this, sharing this to the world at large when it very well could be another ramble in a notebook. Maybe I’m hoping that they’ll see this, that those I love the most will know more than I what to do. They’ll recognize my prose and tell me that I’m doing fine. That’s fantasy though, and that I know. I’ll just keep writing to the wind, hoping I’ll one day be content with life and connection.
I’m sorry I make things weird, awkward or strange. It’s unfair that I place you so highly, and yet hope that you’ll just love me as I do. It’s a fools game to play, yet it’s the only game I know.

So Iv usually been the quiet shy type, the one that tends to sit in the back of class and hope i don't get noticed. People tend to judge you before they get to actually know you, so its always been kinda hard meeting new people for me. I am trying to work on being less introverted and more social, plus lately iv been feeling kinda lonely so I would like to find a chat buddy. I also enjoy reading books like The expanse, ready player one, Lord of the rings. I am currently reading The witcher series. i also enjoy hiking, sleeping, going to the movies,mall,bars, concerts.
I Also enjoy video games and I usually just play on my xbox. Some of my favorites would be Red dead redemption 1&2, Fallout New Vegas&4, Assassins creed 2 and origins, Pubg, skyrim, Bioshock, mass effect, i have plenty of more
If you would like to know my music tastes i am very much a punk,metal, classic rock type of guy but that doesn't mean I won't listen to other stuff. If you enjoy bands like Greenday, The adicts, The misfits, Ramones, Weezer, Foo fighters will get along.
For Movies and Tv i like scifi fantasy but ill watch anything. Some of my likes would be , a good amount of marvel and dc shows and movies.
As for who im looking for age, ethnicity,location dont matter just be fun and nice! Of course it would be great to find someone with common interests but its not a deal breaker im willing and want to learn about new hobbies. So if you think we might make great friends lets chat, we can chat on reddit or whatever app you might use.

Gente não quero desrespeitar a religião de ninguém, mas me peguei pensando se eu aínda acredito em Deus, e se ele não existir se isso afeta minha vida.
A resposta pra primeiro pergunta, é que não tenho certeza da existência. Principalmente pelo fato de vivermos em uma era onde homens são capazes de criar máquinas com capacidade de pensar e de simular uma realidade onde elas se sentem pessoas. Segundo pelo capacidade de clonar pessoas e animais.
O questionamento é o seguinte: pessoas clonadas tem alma ou espírito? Será se não somos apenas uma inteligência artificial que foi programada usando tecnologia biológica? principalmente pela capacidade de conseguir armazenar dados no DNA. E se devemos ser imitadores de deus, como poder um ser que de todo o poder não intervir na destruição dos necessitados?
Pro segundo questionamento a resposta é não. A não existência de Deus não afetaria minha vida em nada. Quando faço o bem pra alguém ou ajo com compaixão não é pelo fato de querer ser salvo ou agraciado por uma força maior, é simplesmente pelo fato de me sentir bem vendo outras pessoas bem.
Será se não estamos apenas buscando apenas buscando um motivo para justificar e não da esperança de algo melhor, em vez de apenas reconhecer o nosso fracasso como humanidade.

i got my wisdom teeth out on friday (it’s currently the following thursday) so i’m about 6 days post op. i was in excruciating pain for the first 4 days and day 5 is when i started feeling a little better. now day 6, i’ve felt great all day and suddenly tonight i have noticed the pain is back (not severe but definitely sore). i also looked at my extraction sites and i don’t really know what im looking at. i’m PETRIFIED of dry socket, is that what this is?? i’ve also been vaping since day 2, but with gauze and not sucking just kind of breathing it in (which hasn’t caused any issues). drinking water feels a little weird but that’s about it as far as differences in the past few days. pls help!
