I’m currently working on a formula to figure out what is the best to worst LOL champions.
As apart of the formula, I’m putting weight modifiers on a number of categories, so I’d like you to help me decide their weightings with just a simple comment ranking them from most to least important.
Categories are: - Visual Design: How well does the characters looks and model represent the character.
- Lore & Character: Does the character itself have depth? Do voice lines and stories make you love the character?
- Originality: How unique is the character? Do they revisit and further an archetype? Are they just blatant plagiarism?
- Cohesiveness: Does the characters gameplay, lore and design all feel like the same character? Is it cohesive.
- Toxicity: How miserable does this champion make your games? Does the mere existence of this champ plague your games?
- Balancing Issues: How much of a balancing nightmare has this champ been? Is this champ forced to be useless to preserve the games health?

Does anyone else point out things in movies that aren't logical? Not sci-fi or fantasy movies but action or drama movies. I do this constantly, despite the fact I do know it's a movie and it's fake, for some reason I will either point it out constantly, get upset, or refuse to watch the movie at all. I am currently sitting in my grandmas bathroom on thanksgiving crying. I developed this injury in may this year. I tried to rest it. I can’t resist the piano. I can’t I try and I can’t I just can’t. I’m crying because it’s my life I love it more than I can describe. I’m 19 years and have been playing my entire life. It wasn’t until last year when I first HEARD the music. I was tripping on acid and I heard Brahms speaking to me. I heard each phrase as a sentence. And ever since then I only listen to classical piano. There’s something about it that I can just sit there for hours listening. I just get absorbed I love everything about this. It almost feels like a drug to me. I’ve been dealing with ALOT of mental health issues and substance abuse issues the past two years and it’s my outlet. It’s my happy place it takes my worries away for the time I’m sitting at the piano. I can’t describe how much I love the piano I’m sitting here crying writing this. Anyway back to tendinitis. I’ve tried taking breaks but I can’t resist it’s so annoying it’s my addictive personality takes over and I can’t kick it I just can’t it’s so godam hard for me. Ever since I heard the music the first time my playing has just turned into something else. It’s sounds different and I hear it different and I feel like I can get it to sound like the recordings. And it has been. The ballade no 1. I can play the coda full speed cleanly and voicing is good and it sounds good and I can hear Chopin up there entering my mind and telling me how he wants it and how I can turn it into my piece. I’m so sad because I know I have to stop and go to pt but at this point I have no idea how long it’s going to take to heal myself. Months? Years? I don’t know. I’m so scared it feels like if I stop my life’s going to be blank and I’m not gonna know what to do and I’m afraid I’m going to drink. It’s so hard because it’s been a constant battle in my head for 6 months and I’m tired I’m so tired of it I’m so FUCKING tired of it. I know what I have to do is just STOP I know it. It’s just so hard for me I’m sorry. Freshman year of college and my piano teacher sees my talent and I am getting a 50 minute program together for the spring semester but I can’t. Will I even be able to play for the people at college? Will they even be able to hear the Chopin I hear. I don’t know. I’m so sad. I just don’t know anymore. Im not sure what I’m looking out of this post I just want to hear what people have to say. Sorry for the rant I want a big hug right now I’m gonna go get one from my grandma. This is so hard right now I worry about tonight im gonna go into auto pilot and something’s going to take over and I’m going to sneak out and drink. At some point a part of my brain takes over and I can’t control it I just can’t. I’m tired of this and not being able to control drinking and weed. I just dislike myself so much that I don’t know how to like myself. I don’t understand because everyone likes me I am a really kind and caring person and I do cool shit I climb cranes and going to school in Colorado I’m making awesome movies when I go camping and climbing and im a classical person. I’m a cool person and I should love myself but I don’t know how. I need someone to hug me right now. Ok enough. I gotta go back out and wipe my eyes and interact with the family.

2024.11.28 23:39 Expensive_Art_4829 Why is my carbon knife not as sharp as my stainless?
So.... i was finally able to fulfill my dream of having several japanese knives, albeit buying them second hand. However, most of them were not in great condition (which was why they are quite cheap) and needed sharpening either because they were simply blunt or had chips from tiny ones to almost 1mm ones.
Among them were a SS nakiri (not sure what steel but presumably the popular VG-10?) and a carbon usuba that I chose to restore first and have fun cooking with them.
I do not own any fancy stones and just used what I had which have always kept all my cheap knives (chinese cleaver, daiso deba, daiso yanagiba, daiso nakiri, cheap paring, and a kiwi ko-bunka) super sharp so far which are:
- #120 & #320 double sided waterstone from Daiso
- 3 pretty smooth waterstones of unknown grits (none of them were as smooth as plastic or ceramic like those ultra high grit polishing stone) from shopee
- paddle leather strop with no compound applied
I just don't know what I did wrong here, does a carbon knife require a different technique or maybe is it the fact it is an usuba that makes it significantly more difficult?
Any insights or advice would be appreciated as I still have other carbon single bevel knives to sharpen.
