Recently I met a girl at a Halloween party and we hit it off great. She loves the character I was dressed up as (he's sorta niche too which is what began sparking my interest in her) and I made her and her friends laugh a ton, so I think I made a good first impression. I went on with my life after that party, but she's been on my mind ever since.
Fast forward to last week, I went to a friendsgiving and asked one of my friends about her. He reached out to her for me and she seemed happy to give me her number. We began texting last Saturday and everything seemed great, actually. While texting her I began to think (or maybe realize) that this is how a girl should text if she actually likes you. We texted back and forth for hours a couple times, and she sometimes replies to my messages within seconds or minutes even if it's been a few hours since my last response. She's on vacation this week with family so we couldn't go out, but she sent me pictures of her (and even one with her brother in it so I figured she trusts me a decent bit) on vacation.
Now here's where things get messy, and I feel like I'm partially to blame. I let reddit and insecurities get to me. I got scared that she only wanted me for validation or sex, so I told her I was going out one evening and didn't text her at all the next day after she told me to have fun and to stay safe. I know it's dumb. Incredibly dumb, even. So, I tried to be mature. I realized the only way to know for sure is if I make my intentions clear, so I texted her the next day (yesterday) asking when she'd be back. She replied "Sunday!" to which I replied to by saying I'd like to take you out on a date. She told me "I'll be around next week" and I started figuring out logistics. She gave me some quick responses and she even said she'd be fine with driving to our date since we live relatively far from each other, which made me think she's genuinely interested. I was texting her as normal but then she just went radio silent and hasn't replied at all today. The only explanation I can think of is that she's flying from one vacation spot to another today for Thanksgiving (because she said she'd be back Sunday and I know some families travel for holidays), and I know from experience that those flights can last anywhere from 8 to 12+ hours (I'm not including flights with transfers because then she'd have no excuse to not reply). I'm just scared that I'm getting ghosted, which I guess wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if she really was just playing me. Idk, thoughts? What's your guys' experiences with this?

Hi all,
just started a new project that requires several turns. I already paused the task on several occasions while working, because I didn't want to run out of time on my first full pay rate task. Despite all this, I went overtime on my first turn and for the following turns it kept displaying the "Exceeded time rate". I went through all three turns, and they paid me only the reduced rate for the following turns?!!! Each turn has 40 mins! I even made up time in the following turns and was just a few minutes overtime in the end.
Is this normal!!!???

 | So I'm going through Lothric Castle, I already had most of the bosses spoiled for me way before getting the game, so I wasn't expecting any surprises. I reach the consumed king's garden, and it's all eerie and twisted. I reach the stairs leading to a fogwall, and then I hear the most disturbing and unnerving wailing. And inside is a dragon with the most creepy design, holding an invisible baby, and walking towards you slowly. I really feel like this is the most disturbing boss I've seen in the souls series, but also a very enjoyable and interesting one. It reminded me of Ludwig's first phase and was quite a challenge, but the music and his voice lines were absolutely terrifying, and it didn't help that it was midnight as well.  | My grandparents lived a very humble life. They were both polish and I am very fond of the memories I have of them. My mother recently cleaned out my grandfather's house, where we found an accordion. It was beautiful and I thought I might be able to learn a few things on it. I also had a sentimental attachment being that I imagined my grandfather played polkas on it. We listened to polkas every time I saw him in his last years. I'm heartbroken to find out- she sold the accordion to some sort of dealer in a city nearby. For only $150. Do you think it would be difficult or worthwhile to try and get it back? Or do accordions just lose their ability to play over time if they are just sitting?
