Đạo đức là một khái niệm, quy chuẩn do con người nghĩ ra. Và anh em biết đó, khi nói đến khái niệm, thì nó có thể thay đổi bất kỳ lúc nào, tùy thuộc vào địa điểm, thời điểm, và văn hóa chung của vùng miền đấy. Vào thời Hy Lạp xa xưa, nô lệ là một điều bình thường, phổ biến trên toàn xã hội. Ngày nay, luật pháp nói chung nghiêm cấm cho mày làm điều đó, vì nó "sai trái". Ở Mỹ, 18 tuổi là mày có thể mua súng để "bảo vệ bản thân". Ở Việt Nam, mày không được cầm súng dù ở độ tuổi nào đi nữa, vì nó "gây hại cho con người". DEI, hay tiếng Việt là đa dạng (Diversion) - bình đẳng (Equity) - hòa nhập (Inclusion) được nhiều doanh nghiệp lớn áp dụng rầm rộ để ủng hộ phụ nữ, người da màu trong giai đoạn 2015-2024. Thế nhưng, trải qua biến động kinh tế, xã hội, ngày càng nhiều các tập đoàn lớn đang dần gỡ bỏ chính sách này. Trong đó, điển hình là Toyota, Microsoft, Ford, Lowe's, Harley Davidson,... và gần đây nhất là Boeing.
Thước đo đạo đức để đánh giá một con người tốt hay xấu là rất mong manh, dễ thay đổi. Việc một tỷ phú, một nhà cầm quyền nào đó "tốt" với nhóm người này, và "xấu" với nhóm người kia là chuyện rất bình thường. Một khía cạnh ngoài lề, ông bà ta có câu: tốt khoe, xấu che. Thế nhưng, trong thời đại internet 4.0, tao không thể che được cái xấu, kiểu gì cũng sẽ có người ghét và bóc phốt tao.
Vậy, đâu là thước đo bền vững để biết một người “tốt”, hay “xấu”? Theo tao, chúng ta không thể đánh giá được một người “tốt” hay “xấu” theo lẽ thường mà phải phụ thuộc vào tác động lịch sử. Ví dụ như Kotoku Wamura, thị trưởng của ngôi làng Fudai thuộc phía Đông Bắc Nhật Bản. Ông dành hàng triệu đô tiền thuế để xây hệ thống chống ngập, mặc cho bao nhiêu người chỉ trích ông ta “xấu”, gàn dở, phung phí tiền thuế của dân. Chỉ vài năm sau khi ông mất đi, trận động đất kinh hoàng vào 2011 xảy ra, mọi người mới nhận ra được ông ta “tốt” như thế nào.
Chính vì những lý do trên, hành động là thước đo bền vững nhất. Cụ thể hơn, đó là hành động của của người đó gây tác động tích cực hay tiêu cực đến cuộc sống hằng ngày của bản thân và gia đình. Tích cực và tiêu cực như thế nào, đến cái gì thì được định nghĩa theo tháp nhu cầu Maslow. Những thứ người đó tạo nên trước khi tao sinh ra chỉ mang tính tham khảo. Đây là thước đo tốt, vì nó căn cứ vào thực tại và lịch sử, vốn là những thứ không thể thay đổi được. Tao cũng giới hạn thước đo này về mặt thời gian để tránh trường hợp đánh giá những người như ông Kotoku Wamura.
Bài viết mang tính chủ quan của người viết (tao), trên tinh thần không công kích hay ủng hộ bất kỳ một tổ chức, cá nhân nào. Tuy nhiên, tao vẫn là con người, và con người vẫn có ý kiến chủ quan, cho dù có muốn khách quan thế nào đi chăng nữa. Hy vọng sẽ tìm ra được tiếng nói chung, mang lại một góc nhìn mới cho anh chị em vào ngày mới.

I recently bought these boots in my size. If I sized up, there was too much space. With my size (7 women’s), it takes me so much effort and time to get the boots on. Within a few minutes, I can start to feel my feet go numb. I heard that it’s normal that it takes time for it to become easier to put on but what about the numbing feeling? Are they are just the wrong size? I know my right foot is slightly bigger, so my right foot is in more pain than the other. I love the way these shoes look but I’m worried about keeping them past the return policy and finding out they never get comfortable.

We've had FiOS triple play for about 15 years now and last renewed our contract about 4 years ago. The current TV/Phone/Data bundle is $177 including Gigabit data and two STBs ($44 of the $177). We currently have "FiOS TV Preferred HD". Our current contract is expired.
I looked at renewing on-line, and the cheapest plan with the same TV option would run me $251.
Do I need to renew? Verizon hasn't yet contacted me about a renewal.
I would like to add back in a local sports network, but not if it jacks my price up almost $80 a month. At that point I'd rather just keep the Gigabit service and get rid of everything else (and use YouTube TV for TV).

I've spent a lot of time thinking about human nature to try to figure out why people are the way they are. I work for a company and hadn’t worked for maybe 2 ish wells and say the online long in for the schedule mine wasent letting me log in. I didn’t think anything of it ask the manager just happends to sent out a email that something was down with the website and others were complaining about it around ish when it happened. So I couldn’t see when I was working. A colleague texted me asking if I could cover and did I got to work and couldn’t log in and told the manager and they would manually log me in. And I coverd the next week. Then the head manager came up to me and said I wasn’t on the schedule head manager thing and said that someone told her I resigned. I never did don’t I need to send in a lettter to prove it. And if I was why the hell would they let me cover and let me work, rather then send me home. They said they would get in touch with HR and then text me 4 days ago. I have worked here way over a year Do I reach out I’m scared. What are my laws. And I was looking and I haven’t been payed for it either when the pay days are.
