Would be different if in SD2 there were multiple ways to escape or attempt to escape.
First could be similar to SD1 where you rebuild an aircraft and fly out.
Second you fix a boat and try and escape by sea only for it to break down and you get saved by a cruise ship?
Third after spending a long time on an island (really long time) a plane flies over and spots you and you get rescued.
What are some other suggestions.

Just got my Golden Ages today, and either I'm stupid (likely) or something is wrong with them.
I managed to pair them once (to my PC), or rather, just the left bud (L), the right (R) stayed silent. I observed that the case flashes green when I insert (L), but not R. Dead R then? The 3-s case button press (pairing mode) doesn't work, it errors out (blinks 6 times, not 7, but ok). Touching the buds for 3 s (also pairing mode) does nothing. The 10-s case button press (reset) doesn't work, either (no orange flash).
After half an hour of trial and error I managed to get the 10-s reset working. Seems to work better if you close, then open the lid again. After that even R briefly showed sins of life. And once I got it to pair to my phone. Tried to update the firmware, but that got stuck at "Download" (which is after transferring?!). So now I'm back where I started. R mostly plays dead, the resets fail, and even if they don't it's a miracle if anything shows up in BT discovery. Last couple of attempts (with my phone) I had only the LEA (LC3) variant, not that that would pair ...
- Do I have a dud pair or is there a trick to this, an exact sequence of steps to follow?
- Should the case react when I insert the right earbud?

Given how popular King was by this time, and given that The Langoliers and Secret Window are both novel-length works (Langoliers is clearly longer than Carrie), why do you reckon they were published together rather than as their own novels. Did the four novellas in that book match that closely thematically?
Nowadays they sell each novella separately, which is a bit cheap imo. What are your guys general thoughts on this, and why is The Langoliers classified as a novella despite being well over the minimum word count for novels.
I never read the first two stories cuz I had seen the movies (omg Langoliers was bad) but these days i actually find reading books after seeing the movies to be a great experience in its own right

 | I did a Global and European breakdown on Genomelink and just a regular test on Ancestrydna, on the free ancestry analysis it got the same results as ancestry with the Indigenous american, then on Global and European got close to the same results as Ancestry MyHeritage with Iberian and Scandinavian, got close to MyHeritage french results (0%), but very far from ancestries french results. The Irish, British, German, French, and Spanish I already know I have from the past tests, but I havent gotten anything from Finland, East Europe, the Balkans, Italy, Dravidian, or what I'm assuming is Arab/Levantine from any of the other tests.
