Currently rewatching a third time around and I'm wondering about something I read that DG said awhile back. It was something to the extent of "I wanted to make a show that portrayed what it's like being black in America".
So during this rewatch it hit a bit different for some reason. And what I'm wondering is this — is it really like that? The question is obviously for black people only, because anyone who isn't (like myself) can never know from the outside looking in.
And one thing that I was shocked by is just how much aggression, passive aggression, or even micro-aggression comes from a black-on-black dynamic / situation... so much finessing, taking advantage of one another, stunting, flexing, deceiving, manipulating, etc.
For example — The guy in the very beginning just walking up to Al's car and absolutely randomly kicking his rearview mirror off his bar, the club owner finessing Earn and Al, Tracy scheming Earn with the gift cards, bibby the barber just being overly manipulative and slippery. Those 3 Paper Boi fans that show Al love and then end up robbing him and might've tried to kill him if he didn't fight back, a couple of instances where they're in the strip club and the strippers and MC are clearly trying to fleece them as much as possible, etc.
So is it like this? Is it worse? Is it an overembellishment?
And lastly, is it worse in some cities / states than others for some of you have you noticed?

I've been planning on upgrading my PC for a while. I was gifted a Gigabyte ga-ax370 gaming motherboard, which is NVMe compatible. I'm looking for an effective 1TB SSD preferably under $100, which can be aided by Black Friday. The cheapest one I found on Best Buy was a Crucial - P3 1TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe for $62. My uncle told me that Crucial's specs are comparable to Intel, just less reliable. Only thing is I can't find any Intels on Best Buy and to be frank, I don't trust other electronic sellers, and I would prefer to buy new. If you have any other questions, just comment below.

 | Beard got worse on minoxidil It doesn't make any sense. For context, the first picture is a year ago to the day, 28th of november 2023, and the second picture is today. My beard actually got worse. At the point of the first picture I had been on min for 2 months and I believe I did see some improvement. Worth mentioning is that I am on finasteride as well but I had been 2 months prior to starting minoxidil and 4 months before the first picture. I know some comments are gonna say my minoxidil is fake but in my country you can only buy it from verified minoxidil and it's the same one I've been using on my hair. I'm in mid twenties. And I live with my parents, being the youngest kid at home, I was overly protected and pampered. Doesn't mean I don't know how to do things outside, however whatever I do has to go through all.
While they are very progressive and open minded. At the same time, like all Indian parents, we are only the good kids if we live in the way they want. While my siblings moved out for their higher studies and jobs, I couldn't. Let's just say we have some overly attachment issues with mother. Anything I do away from her will be viewed as I'm trying to get away from her. I couldn't take placement job because it was very low and over work one. And I wasn't allowed to apply to different cities job because that means I'm 'leaving' her. So right now i'm doing part time, teaching nearby kids small tution and drawing. And even if I go to cousin house in same city for weekend. I have to call every day minimum once and talk for 20mins at least. I just can't even say anything that's not her ways of thinking or it'll be call of full emotional gaslight and even that weekend peace will be ruined, like usual.
I'm not gonna say it's completely her fault. I was also over attached as kid. And I only came to undo all these in past 5yrs, from my late teens. And that too, through all my family members effort including my mum. Who wanted me to become independent and not just be inside home all the time not being able to do anything outside. And now that I became like how they wanted me to, she became like this, bit opposite. We know kids are parents, especially mums whole world. However this is just, so frustrating. It's so suffocating and depressing. I've been depressed for years and it's only getting worse and I'm not even allowed to say a word about it. Because "what do I have to be depressed about?".
I've been trying to hold it in and tell myself I can do it. But right now, we had another call of full one side blaming, obviously I didn't. I was trying to pacify her and trying to calm her and it didn't work. I'm on verge of going insane and breaking down. I never know solution for it. And now, I'm just completely lost (might be emotional talking but yeah)
