Hello and Assalamualaikum everyone. I’m starting a course in some weeks and the assignment the teacher has me doing in Rabbi Yassir and I’m surprised that I would be starting here rather than individual letters. I just feel like me writing this is going to look completely alien to the script and frankly, embarrassing. The proportions are going to look very off, the strokes won’t be smooth etc.
Though writing this, I’m just reading my post and replying in my head like “well duh” lol.
I don’t have any previous artistic strengths so I am going into this completely fresh, heck my handwriting in English is bad too lol. Is feelings like this normal?

I may not know what it feels like when the person with whom I share my love walks away. I may not know what it feels like to see my other half find another half. I may not know what it feels like to feel homesick for arms that don't want me anymore. But… I do know what it feels like to feel homesick for arms that are now merely ashes, in a container, on my desk.
Why do we all feel the need to compare apples to oranges? My love may not have walked away from me, but rather walked away from life itself.
Grief takes a part of you with it. For me, I was finally sketching an image of the future, the future of my dreams. A splash was all it took. my future, my life, my love, gone in a splash.
There I stood, on that shoreline. The shoreline where my old life ended, my grief began, and where I was thrown into a fast flowing with a river of emotion. I was an empty vessel, tossed around, fighting the need to come up for air and the urge to simply let go.
I saw no escape, but like a butterfly taking flight, the river settled, and I could see. The river of grief took so much from me. As I learn how to walk once again. I am like a baby foal, weak and wobbly, trying to adjust to this new world. A world that's a bit deeper, a bit darker, a bit colder. I want to have faith in the good, but like a foal, I am blown over by the breeze of others comparing my loss to their own heartbreak.
While I can understand that heartbreak leaves a scar on your soul, please please, please do not say that it is worse or even the same as death. You do not know the pain of hearing his mother's heart break in two, as I said, her only son, the light of her life is gone.
You do not understand that a knife went through my heart when I saw his lifeless body. My whole body laid over his for what I knew was going to be the last time, begging, pleading from a place so deep to my core to wake up, to come back. Please come back.
You do not understand the feeling of dressing up nice for your final goodbye, standing up there in front of all of his family and friends, reading the 7 page love letter you wrote for his birthday. It was as if I was a fishbowl with all my grief and vulnerability on show for all.
Next time you feel the urge to compare apples to oranges and say, I'm lucky because we'll never break up. think… think how you would feel if the love of your life ceased to exist.

Looking to get a Ride Shadowban. I’m 6’3” and 230 lbs so im a larger rider. I have been rocking the Gnu Antigravity 162w size but it doesn’t seem like Ride has the shadowban in wide sizes other than 160w and 164w.
I’m looking for a more playful board that can still rip down the mountain…should I go with the 164w or the 160w? Both seem to be around the same width as my Antigravity but of course the length is different

So I finally finished the hotel last night after like a few weeks, I tried out the mines and it was really great. 6th try, I make it to door 150. As I am running to B, I see a grumble. I point my Bulklight at one and run to the opposite direction. I turned, and saw another grumble. I got trapped, and I tried to look for a hiding spot. Fix this please.
Any tips to prevent getting ganged up on?
