Ok so I'm putting together a landnav class used to bridge the knowledge gap between MGRS and civilian maps like UTM for SERE type scenarios.
I'm looking for a place i can download multiple maps, all with the same center point location, with one of each of the different grid types and scales.
for example a map of liberty with Area J as the center point in MGRS @ 1:50,000, USNG @ 1:10,000, UTM @ 1:24,000, etc.
I want to be able to print them and pass one set of each out to each soldier so they can practice using different maps with different compasses and different protractors.
We typically always use an MGRS map @ 1/50,000 scale with a Cammenga compass, and GTA05-02-012 compass. I want them to be able to pick up any map, compass, protractor combination and know how it works.
I've tried the below sites and apps and cant seem to get any of them to do exactly what I want
***bonus if you know any good teaching aids or videos geared to people who already understand how maps, compasses, declination diagrams, point plotting, etc. works and just bridges the gap between different grid systems and tools that would be awesome too

Im 24 years old. I started smoking weed when I was 13, I don't mean to make excuses but I started so I could hang out with my older brother more. My two older siblings had moved away at that point, family life was constantly a stressor between my parents and stepparents, I am socially anxious and didn't have friends back then so when he offered it to me I took it. That ultimately led me to completely stop trying in school and stop attending all together. I spent all of my time trying to find more people in that crowd, because they reminded me of my brother and up to that point he was my only real role model I had. I even started acting like him. The only thing is that my brother changed. He did well in school. I really didn't. In highschool I had trouble with cops, my parents, my teachers and most other people I could think of. Despite that, I surprisingly have no charges. My brother moved away when I was a junior, and I dropped out junior year with F's in everything except orchestra. I got my GED a year or two later.
Since then I've had around 38 jobs and am just drifting with no clear direction. At 21 I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 and anxious distress as well as a few other things. I'm broke, I haven't been medicated since September of last year(too deep into collections to book a psych appt), and I genuinely believe that I don't have much of a future. Ive felt completely hopeless and helpless for years now and I don't know what to do about it. I try. I really do. I go to the gym to try and stop my brain and it does next to nothing. I keep my room clean. I make an effort to engage with my roommate and I love my girlfriend dearly. But I just feel lost.
I would love to go to college someday, I want to study history (I like pirates lol) and I would love to be someone my parents and step parents can be proud of. I'm afraid I'll just stop trying again, if any university will even accept me. I just feel like a stain compared to all of my other siblings. For starters, im the only one in my LIVING FAMILY LINEAGE to not graduate. My older brother now has a really good job and is married, my older older brother lives across the country and is going to college for a master's degree, my oldest brother has been touring the world for years now and is currently hanging out in Malaysia with his wife, and my highest achievement is that I got pretty good at playing fiddle.
I just really want to try again. I know that's not possible.

So I’ve seen a lot of content of people using their drones over Phi Phi Leh and I would love to do the same but have no idea about the regulations?
I’ve heard that the laws on drone flying are pretty strict in Thailand so if I did want to get some drone content over Phi Phi Leh is there any way of going about getting permission?
Or is it just not allowed at all and people are just illegally getting this content?

had a moment of realization tonight that on holidays, the family will be over making noise, playing games, being loud, lights on, until pretty late - 9 or 10 or so. how bad is it for the finches to have that happening 2 or 3 times a year? they normally have been awake-ish until 7 or 730 this time of year, so it's not like inordinately late for them. just worried about their tiny stressed out bodies!
