This is an update on my previous post where I was asking for help since a few people asked that I share the results!
I followed a lot of your guys’ tips and it turned out great! I ended up going with GF barilla noodles because many of you said you had issues with the banza brand and overabsorption of sauce. I also made sure to undercook the pasta and rinse thoroughly under cold water and I successfully avoided clumps and mush! Thank you all so much! If you’re wondering, my friend loved it and even took some home with her!
Just in case anyone is curious recipe-wise, I ended up following Tini Younger’s Mac and cheese recipe pretty much exactly, although with GF pasta and with a half-rice flour half-tapioca starch mix instead of regular flour for the roux. I’ve heard king Arthur’s GF flour works better so I’d recommend that if you have it!! The rice flour ended up making it a little bit thicker and grittier (I’m assuming it the rice flour since the same thing happened with the GF gravy roux we made) so I ended up adding some extra evaporated milk too, but overall was a success!

I feel really defeated after getting my score yesterday. I started with a 159 diagnostic. I felt really good about that. I studied for 6 months and ended with a 167 PT. I didn't take many PTs as I felt they weren't really helping me to improve just letting me know where I was. Anyway, I got a 162... Wtf. After months of studying and feeling like I was making progress I only saw a 3 point increase. I am obviously taking the test again. I think I'll wait until the summer. I'm getting married in 2 weeks and honeymooning so I won't start studying again until late January but I don't even know where to start!! My goal is 172-175. I know my score is good enough to get into my dream schools but I need a good scholarship. I'm an elementary school teacher who is already drowning in loans.

Para no hacer la historia larga, mi padre falleció hace algunos años, mi madre trabajaba en su negocio, se le acerco un tipo.
Desde los primeros días comenzó a faltarle al respeto a pesar de que aun no eran nada, trate de decirle muchas veces que lo alejara pero siempre lo perdonaba.
Los problemas fueron escalando a tal punto que la amenazo, chantajeo, amenazo con golpearla, la encerró en su casa y la amenazo con golpearla si trataba de salir, le ha dicho que me va a seguir a mi trabajo a partirme la cara para que deje de meterme y lo deje hacer lo que quiera a sus anchas.
Trata constantemente de convencer a mi madre de que me corra de casa, en casa los problemas se han vuelto cosa de todos los días desde hace 4 años debido a eso ya que el tipo ese la hace enojar y se desquita conmigo
he tratado muchas veces de irme de casa pero siempre me chantajea mi madre con "claro como ya no te sirvo me quieres abandonar mal agradecido" a pesar de que el día anterior me dijo que me largara si no me parecía y que ojala me muriera que solo le estorbo en su vida.
Siento que estoy llegando a mi limite y realmente no tengo mas familia o amigos que me apoyen en estas situaciones, estoy atrapado en una situación de la que me esta siendo complicada salir
