This is NOT a thread talking about whether POE 2 is a better game than Diablo 4, PLEASE try and keep this in mind.
The talk around town is that POE 2 will "kill" Diablo 4...
People seem to think that simply by having a better game (and AGAIN, I am NOT arguing the validity or otherwise of that statement! ), they will surpass a cultural icon.
As one example: McFarlane has a range of action figures from DC, Marvel, Movies, TV shows, and ICONIC video games.
Doom? Yep; Diablo? Plenty; The Witcher? Indeed.
I could find mainstream Diablo merchandise in my local gaming shop.
Path of Exile? Sorry, who?
People who don't know games, or who play casually, have never heard of Path of Exile, Diablo, yep, they know that.
Path of whatnow?
Please understand that this is ingrained for 20+ years, Diablo 4 is as iconic a franchise as Doom and CoD.
Path of Exile, however good it may be as a game, is not going to knock Diablo 4 off the pedestal.

Occasionally the topic of bring your phones in the shower comes up with me and two friends and every time it gets weirdly heated?? They insist that it’s normal and that they use a baggie. I’m of the opinion that you just shouldn’t and that showers at most are a 40 minute thing that you shouldn’t need your phone for. Were all fairly average people, no textured hair or anything, but no, they both take like hour or two hour long showers and say they need their phones to entertain them. I cant shake the feeling that it’s gross and unnecessary but at the same time I feel like I’m going nuts as they both insist it’s normal. Is it normal? Or am I weirdly germaphobic?

Ive always heard that a good firm solid handshake always makes a good first impression, especially in the corporate setting.
On two recent occasions, I've been before two very important and prominent people in business, kinda like head honchos of state and federal depts type important people, and both just gave these pissweak underwhelming handshakes.
Is it because I'm a low level office pleb and they save the good shakes for the other VIPs?
Or is the whole handshake thing outdated?
I was always taught to give a good handshake but I don't know if that sort of thing matters any more.

Hey all, we have some professional family photos we wanted to get printed on metal. Like what Bay Photo offers. I've been reading up a lot on it, and I see some consistent messaging that is making this more complicated than I'd like.
It seems like there is usually a lot of color tuning / adjustment that goes into photos before they are sent off for these types of prints. And it's also recommended that I buy a color calibrated monitor. And buy some adobe image processing sofftware. And get a PhD in photography...
Is there is an easy route to this. Like, I just want some metal prints. Is there some kind of shortcut I can take? Hire someone to look through my photos and do the calibrations on my behalf and I can just trust their opinion of things? As lazy as that sounds, its surely better than me just sending off digital photos that I didn't touch at all, right? I have some time and energy for this, but not as much as it seems like I need.
