Entonces, siento que como sociedad hacemos retrocesos y avances morales, pero no entiendo xq.
X ejemplo, en las antiguas épocas, las madres eran ayudadas por la comunidad a la hora de tener hijos, lo cual considero que es una idea bastante buena considerando que tener un hijo es súper cansador y te puede llegar a causar mil mambos.
Pero en esas épocas antiguas (no estoy seguro de la época en si, así que decidí homogenizarla) se hubiera dejado a un bebé abandonado en una cueva solo x tener albinismo.
A día de hoy podemos decir que avanzamos en ciertos temas como que la homofobia y ciertas creencias dañinas ya no sean tan aceptadas, pero sigue habiendo muchos problemas, además de que las madres ya no son ayudadas por una comunidad para criar a su hijo ( esto lo uso más como un ejemplo de algo bueno que fue eliminado, no es que es esto en específico)
Por eso mí duda es, xq eliminamos cosas buenas y hacemos otras (que también se ah hecho no digo que no) en vez de agrupar todo lo bueno? Porque siempre hay algún mal en específico en el mundo? (la economía insostenible, genocidios, etc)
Porque dejamos de hacer cosas buenas?

Hi, I am a first year college student taking an engineering course where I am expected to program an elevator. I have written code for an elevator that memorizes button presses and moves the lift to the corresponding floors. You are able to press a button any time, and no matter what you will get to the floor (if the lift is moving or not). However, I need to implement up/down buttons for each floor, and have the lift memorize the order it needs to follow. For example, if the lift is on floor 2, and an up button is pressed on the ground floor (0), but a down button is pressed on floor 1, the lift should go to floor 1, then ground. Another example: If the lift is on floor 4, a down button is pressed on floor 6, but an up button is pressed on floor 2, if the lift has already been on its way up, the lift should go to floor 6, then 2. I have tried everything I can think of to implement these properties over the past several weeks, but have had no luck. The following is my simple code. If someone could help me out it would be much appreciated (oh, the lift at the moment is a servo, but will be changed to a stepper motor soon):

I first wanna say I’m not racist and this is just my two cents.
let’s start off with the context, the whole idea of black face is that it became more prevalent after the abolishment of slavery/slave trade. why so? it’s likely that the white people are salty about this decision and hence started making fun of the way they speak, they act and they look. I do not think that they were making fun of their misery in any way. Is it wrong for the white people to feel salty? Not really, especially if u consider how this was a source of livelihood for some and having it being suddenly taken away is not very good. Is the decision for abolishing slave trade right? yes, bcos of how people were being tortured and those inhumane practices.
So in that sense, the rise of black face type of shows rise because the whole idea was to be “funny” and “comical”. To think from a diff perspective, you might have a new classmate or sibling, at first u may feel that it’s unfair bcos your class was already very bonded without this new addition or your parents would have to divert their attention. All these will naturally lead u to feel unjust sometimes, that’s totally normal. When u feel adjust u might deliberately try to just make fun of them also what.
I just don’t think the group of people from UOL deserves so much backlash.
I also wanna add that Singaporeans have double standards. It is not uncommon for y’all to make fun of the way and manner angmohs speak sometimes, yet no one calls out such behaviour? So if you’re able to accept that, surely you’re able to accept a group of people that dress up like African-Americans without any intention of hating on them.

My industry is likely to collapse if Trump's proposed tariffs go through, the city that I live in may also go with it as it's pretty well built on my industry. If they go through, it's likely that I will lose my job.
I know this sounds crazy, but I'm thinking about buying an apartment now, while I can get approved for the mortgage and if things really go as bad as the first paragraph, rent it out and hopefully build some equity that way while I look into a different career. Is this plan completely insane?
