 | This is my grandfathers spoil that he confiscated in the Second World War. This is one of MANY items I have. In case you were unaware, Luftwaffe is German for Air Force. They sent their Luftwaffe into battle when they didn’t have anymore planes to fly and they needed ground troops. I have no idea what the markings are. Is anyone can help, I’d appreciate it. I am adding this. I do not like Nazis l, I am not a sympathetic to them. I do not agree with them at all. This is a spoil that I believe my grandfather would want me to share to remember what he and his brothers fought and died for. Just a little back story: I am a single mom with a 2 and a half year old autistic boy. I am trying to flee my current household as my son and I are living with an emotionally (and sometimes) physically abusive mom. I need to get my son out of the situation as there has been numerous times that the police have been called for false reports, there have been multiple angry outbursts and numerous fights. I can’t have my son growing up like this. I called a shelter and they said we can come but I’m scared that my mom will find out and she will try and have my son taken from me. Is that a possibility? I can’t have my son witness more than he already has

Hi! Long story short, my partner is currently in a financially and emotionally abusive household, and things are.. rough. Their mental health is deteriorating rapidly due to stress, causing them to be unable to work some days due to the stress making them physically ill, and their mom (who they live with) is threatening to kick them out into a dangerous city and negative temps if they don't get back to work (they have 3 jobs) and keep adding to a joint bank account she can access.
This is urgent, as they have no other family, friends, shelters, or a car to stay in. We're hoping to get them enough to move to me instead, as I'm currently the closest and have a car. I also have a job lined up for them in my city. We just aren't sure how to make the jump to get them here on so few resources.
So.. advice? Has anyone been in a similar situation before, and if so how did you survive it? Any ideas for what we can try? Local resources for them are really limited, so we're kinda running out of ideas, as most of what I came up with depended on that.

Hey everybody! How’s it going? Good? Awesome! Not so good? Talk to me about it!
I’m 32 year old guy from York, England who is incredibly socially awkward who is hoping to make some new friends. I also suffer with depression and anxiety so…..I’m a total delight 👍 but aside from that I consider myself to be very laid back….maybe too laid back, socially awkward like I said, but a big kid at heart with a random sense of humour. I’ve always found it difficult to make friends so figured was worth a shot on here.
In my free time aka not living my adult life of working night shift in retail, I enjoy gaming, football, love horror and true crime, going on random walks (great for my mental health) and taking pictures.
I will be honest, I’m not the greatest at conversations, meaning I know I should ask questions but my mind goes blank very quickly so I apologise in advance. I know this means I’m not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea but that’s understandable.

Didn't get pictures of breakfast, but we had TJ's Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancakes (box mix) with Maple Syrup and Columbus Turkey Bacon.
For lunch, I made a Charcuterie Board with Milton Crackers, Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers, Three Pigs Cornichon Pickles, Pickled Asparagus, TJ's Olive Medley, TJ's Turkey Sausage, TJ's Uncured Sopresetta, TJ's Chianti Red Wine Salami, TJ's Stilton with Apricots, TJ's Chevre with Cranberries, and TJ's Calvados Soaked Brie.
For supper we made TJ's Herb Rubbed Brined Half Turkey, TJ's GF Turkey Gravy, TJ's Cranberry Sauce, TJ's GF Boxed Stuffing, Frick's Carver Ham, Maple Syrup Brussel Sprouts (grilled on the stalk), and Rosemary Mashed Potatoes.
For dessert we had Pumpkin Pie made with TJ's Canned Pumpkin and a Wholly GF Pie Crust.
The star of the show was the Turkey and Cranberry Sauce. Trader Joe's nailed those two. The stuffing was great, as was the Turkey Gravy.
The stuffing called for 3 cups of water to be added, but cut up some carrots and celery and put that under the turkey in the oven with a cup of Trader Joe's Turkey Bone Stock and used that, the turkey drippings and another two cups of stock instead of the called for water. I am confident that was the right decision.
To be honest, this was the easiest Thanksgiving I've done and had I made this for more people than just my family, I could have passed this all off regular instead of all Gluten Free.
