The first picture was taken on day two, Tuesday. I’m 90 kg, and my cheeks are chubby, so I’m not sure if what you see beside the sore in the second picture is fat or not. On the same day, it got swollen and hurts quite a bit, possibly because it's near my teeth. Today is Thursday, and I still can’t open my mouth properly; the limit is just one finger wide. I apologize for my finger being in the picture, but I had to push it back because of the swelling. I gargled with mouthwash afterward. I’m not sure if this is still a canker sore or something else, as I’m worried about how little I can open my mouth.

2024.11.29 05:34 Soft_Percentage3036 Suspiciously Followed on the Way Home

I was driving my boyfriend home..I noticed a car followed me onto the interstate and sped up ahead of me. My boyfriend told me to slow down as I was going a fair bit above the speed limit. Seeing the other car speed ahead of me, I rolled my eyes and slowed down. Suddenly, the car slowed down behind me and followed a couple feet away until I merged lanes. They got onto the ramp to exit and I assumed they got off the highway. It wasn't until my boyfriend pointed out the same car had been following us all the way to his neighborhood. He suggested I take a loop around before going to his house, take a couple of turns in case they were up to no good, so I did so. They followed us on every turn. Every now and then the car would turn its lights off and get into a turning lane, oretending to turn, just to pull back out and continue following us down the road with its lights on. I think they wanted us to assume it was a different car behind us. Finally I made a sudden left turn without using my blinker and the car sped past us. We were on edge for the rest of the drive. Was this a human trafficking tactic? Just an angry driver?? So weird!!

Hello and thank you for accepting me here to the community.
Perhaps someone can help me as I have done some research for a few days but I haven't been able to fully get answers. The reason may be that I'm chasing a ghost.
I'm of course familiar with the traditional decks from USPCC: Bee, Tally-Ho, Bicycle, and Aviator. I was looking to see if there are any "budget" decks of decent quality other than those. I realize that is a bit subjective but I would like something usable. I would also like them to be 100% paper and not plastic coated. Their main use would be for practicing card magic.
I am willing to buy a brick or perhaps 2 to minimize the per deck price. It does seem that Bicycle can be had for about $2/deck shipped when buying a brick, and Aviators even less than that. I have liked the latter in the past but they were made in Cincinnati, and I've read they are now made in China. If that is true, are they anywhere near to the quality of old-school Aviators, or are they more like current Mavericks, which I've read should be avoided?
I have a few decks of Cartamundi "Ace" decks which are very similar to Bicycle. (I know that USPCC is now owned by Cartamundi.) I also have some old Cartamundi decks branded for Rite-Aid that were made in China and while not ideal, they are not that bad. It looks like Cartamundi still makes them under their own name but surprisingly I haven't found them anywhere for less than the superior Bicycles. They aren't even worth considering unless I could get them for a buck a deck or less. (I would use them to make gaffed decks for magic.)
Unfortunately, much information on all these decks found on the Web is a few years old, and in those few years things have changed, including Cartamundi discontinuing some of their decks and card stocks.
My question gets a bit more complicated when I take into consideration decks that may be as good or better than the traditional USPCCs mentioned above -- perhaps Cartamundi-branded? The stock they were using just a few years ago (B-something) seems to be discontinued depsite rave reviews.
I've always preferred Tally-Ho over Bicycle mainly for aesthetic reasons, though they used to be printed on better quality stock in the Cincinnati days -- I'm not so sure now. I was never a fan of Bees because I prefer a white border.
For all those USPCCs mentioned, I'm talking about their current standard run-of-the-mill versions and not their "elite" or whatever crushed stock. It does make comparisons apples-to-oranges in many cases.
Regarding Cartamundi "Ace" decks not in plastic, they seem to be available for around $1/deck, which makes me suspicious since the ones I got about 10 years ago were comparable to Bicycle and seemed to have the same air-cushion finish. For that price, I'd expect lesser quality and I have no idea if those are still made in the U.S. as opposed to China.
I've come to the conclusion that getting a brick of Bicycle for about $25 give or take a buck or 2 might be the best answer. Aviators, too, unless the quality really dipped in the last decade.
It would be nice to try something I've never had before -- so paying maybe an extra $10 for a brick for something as good or better than Bicycle -- if that exists in that price range. I see many higher-end decks but the prices quickly skyrocket passed Bicycle. Even Tally-Ho is a lot more and I hesitate unless current production uses better stock than Bicycle for their standard run-of-the-mill.
I do prefer backs that are "traditional looking", which is a bit subjective, but to give you a better idea, I don't want "Star Wars" backs, one-way backs, etc. Just a nice old-school pattern that looks like it could have been designed yesterday or 100 years ago.
As I typed all this out, I really my question is a bit complex, but thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help.

Personally 10-12 times and I’m done. I live on a bluff, it is very satisfying watching it crash through the trees and crashing on the rocks.

2024.11.29 05:34 ilovelovepizza Doctors can’t seem to pinpoint what’s the matter with me.

Alright so since about October 26th I’ve been dealing with bladder issues. When it first started I noticed constant peeing. Like every 10 minutes or so. I drink a little of liquid and I have to go. If I hold out, my back feels like it is building up, my bladder cramps at times. I feel complete discomfort if I don’t pee, and even then sometimes my back still feels like it’s built up. They say I don’t have a UTI, and I don’t believe I do. I’ve been to the doctor several times all to get the same medication that fails to solve the issue.
Here are my symptoms:

The medication I get is called metronidazole. Doesn’t work in the slightest. Not sure why they keep giving it to me.
What do you all believe it is or what does it sound like? I’ve been living with this discomfort and the doctors act like they’re clueless.

[She walks back into the ballroom as she taps a glass]
"Attention honored guest, royalty, and fellow subjects. I am please to announce, that you will have yourself a king."
[SFX: Cheering]
"*Whisper* don't worry, I won't you to do anything out of the ordinary."
[You nod]
"Oh and one last thing~."
[She giggles as she kisses you]

I (19 F) Catholic have met a (19M) Muslim boy late July. Since then we have been inseparable. We live super close, go to the same university, and hang out every single day. He became my best friend who I told everything to and I was his. We caught feelings for eachother however we ran into a problem very early on, we realized that we would never be accepted into each others own homes because of our difference of religions. I loved him so much that I said I was willing to fight for us and to make things work, however he told me he didn’t see me in his future and that it would never work. Because of his comment we stopped seeing each other but it has been very hard. Since we are so connected we always see each other and always hang out. He has been telling me he is sorry for what he says and wants to fight for our relationship disregarding our religions, however i’m scared to take him back because i know he meant it when he said he could never marry me one day in the future. I know we are young but I date to marry and I didn’t want a bigger heartbreak in the end. I was debating it though taking him back when suddenly someone from my past reconnected with me. (18M) has been in my life for years and last year we disconnected. He always the person I seen myself being with but it was just always wrong timing, and now it weirdly feelings like it’s the right timing. So now i’m stuck. I have one guy who I truly love but i’m scared it will never work because of our religions, and another guy who I always run back to hoping our time is the right time. Do I take my chance and disregard our religions and try to make it work since we built such a close connection like my heart says. Or do I go back to the younger guy that we have been on and off for years hoping for the right timing who I know is more secure and I can have an easier future with like my gut says?

I'm sure people have spent a lot of time on a video game which doesn't even provide that much enjoyment, reward or fulfillment, but it's so easy for that person to concentrate on it all day. But in regards to work, or studying, it is hard for that same person to concentrate even for a while.
I think it's something to do with the mind of that person wanting to be immersed in that 'world' provided by that video game, as long as that world is more fun.
