I know pur defense is getting hit with so many injuries, and we're worried about the 1 seed and winning the North, but even with 2nd-5th stringers on defense, this team is hard to beat and tough as nails. Truthfully, if Green Bay and Minnesota had as many injuries on their defense as we do, I think they collapse, but we have the right players/mindset/discipline to keep going
Lets hope our guys get healthier over the next couple weeks.

When I first developed RA within 2 months it spread to my knee. The first incident my knee was completely destabilized, red hot swollen and had entirely disabled me for that whole day leading me unable to go to work at my very first vet tech job (internship); I thought that was the worst pain of my life and was so happy to have gotten it under control with meds, thinking they’ll never buckle again and the worst was behind me. Fast forward to this year when my shoulders got put on the menu, and when I tell ya I should’ve kept my mouth shut…cause I totally jinxed myself!!🥲🤣
Which is worst for you, which would you rather deal with?

2024.11.29 05:44 MeringueLime 2003 Nissan Murano gas pedal - what’s with the letter stickers on the side of the pedal? Are they interchangeable?
This isn’t help for installing it or anything - my stepfather is trying to replace the gas pedal and is buying a replacement part. The first replacement didn’t work for him (wrong one) and he found an otherwise identical pedal on the internet for sale. Our original one (that no longer works) said E on the sticker but the one he is looking at says G. I looked up “e sticker on gas pedal meaning” and google says it means it’s able to use the accelerator panel to e-brake or something and says it’s common in Nissans. But searching “g sticker on gas pedal” gets me nowhere. Will the part still work for him if it’s got a G sticker on it? If this isn’t in the spirit of the sub, sorry. I’m just trying to find answers for him.

 | I've had Hohner Marine Band harmonicas for years and never had the comb warp at all on any of them, and have always stored them flat as I've never owned a box / set, I told now. I purchased this set (AMAZING value and so happy with them) earlier this year however the combs are all warping and I think it must be due to the way I have stored them: like this, front-down, my spit probably drips/pools at the base and the teeth have started to jut out. Still playable, but will definitely try store the opposite way to this photo from now on to see if that prevents warping. However, it quickly became clear that the work environment was anything but supportive. The culture was steeped in negativity and toxicity, where gossip thrived, and collaboration was non-existent. Instead of encouragement, I faced constant criticism and unrealistic expectations, which created a sense of dread every time I set foot in the office.
it became apparent that HR was more concerned with finding flaws than fostering a supportive workplace. Policies seemed to shift frequently, leaving employees feeling insecure and unsure of what was expected of them. Instead of providing clarity, these changes were often arbitrary and seemed aimed at making us uncomfortable and anxious. It felt like a game of “gotcha,” where every mistake—no matter how minor—was magnified and used against us.
The micromanagement was relentless. Rather than trusting employees to do their jobs, Management constantly hovered, scrutinizing every detail of our work. This relentless oversight fostered a stifling atmosphere where creativity and initiative were completely discouraged which hindered the productivity of employees. No matter how hard I worked or how many hours I put in, my contributions were never recognized or valued. Instead, I was met with criticism and a sense that I was always under a microscope.
The attitude of HR is consistently hostile, unapproachable , and dismissive of employee concerns. Attempts to address issues were met with hostility or indifference, which only added to the feeling of isolation. I watched as colleagues were pitted against each other, and the lack of teamwork made it nearly impossible to feel any sense of camaraderie. The stress and anxiety I experienced daily took a severe toll on my mental health, leading me to seek therapy to cope with the trauma.
This company offers limited opportunities for upward mobility and lacks job security. Management frequently implies that you can resign at any moment. If HR decides to let you go for personal reasons, they will look for ways to terminate you while actively recruiting new employees to fill your position.
The company prioritizes its own interests over both clients and staff, focusing solely on maintaining internal operations to ensure profitability. It’s disheartening to think about how many talented individuals have been driven away or broken by this workplace.
SB: This company offers no benefits for its employees you only earn 1.5 hours of sick and vacation time per pay period , and nothing more. You will be ridiculed for working extra. If you are considering joining this company or recommending a loved one, I urge you to think twice.

Hey all, I want to surprise my wife with a bike for Christmas since she’s mentioned wanting one for a while and they are on sale now.
We’ve been subscribing to the public bikes in the warm weather (with and without electric assist) and she really enjoyed that style of bike. It would definitely be used for more casual bike rides when the weather is nice, some slight hills but nothing too crazy. Mainly I want it to be comfortable and have utility (like a front basket or something).

Our settler colonial education system teaches us that the Pilgrims were struggling to survive, the Wampanoag people graciously assisted them with the help of an interpreter named Squanto who miraculously learned English, and then the Pilgrims threw a feast and invited the Wampanoag as thanks for their help. This history is crafted to erase the genocide of Native Americans. There is nothing innocent about it, and perpetuating this myth is genocide denial
In truth, the Wampanoag people were devastated by diseases introduced by earlier European settlers, and were struggling to defend themselves from the Narragansett people who were not hit as hard by the diseases. The Pilgrims initiated contact by pillaging a near-abandoned Wampanoag village and desecrating burial sites. The Wampanoag, after much deliberation, decided it would be easier to assist the struggling Pilgrims in order to prevent further pillaging, gain access to European weapons, and avoid a two-front war. It was not a friendly gesture, it was a shaky pact to try and avoid being wiped out or forced into slavery. "Squanto" - whose real name was Tisquantum - learned English because he was kidnapped and spent years in Europe as a slave until eventually escaping and making his way back to New England to find his tribe completely wiped out. The Wampanoag were not invited to the feast thrown by the Pilgrims. They heard celebratory gunfire (or possibly hunters firing guns) and thought the Pilgrims were under attack, then sent a small army of nearly 100 warriors to aid them to honor the treaty. Upon finding there was no attack, they stayed for the feast and gave a large contribution of five deer. In the coming years, more settlers came and this uneasy alliance fell apart as the settlers broke the treaty and expanded Westward, slaughtering millions
