Not a first time dog owner but my previous dogs have been a Lhasa Apso/ Afghan Hound mix and a Labrador retriever. Those breeds worked well for me because it was a family setting. Now that I live alone, I’d like a Chow. I’ve done my breeder research (adoption is not an option in my country). I’ve looked at the energy levels, environment and socialisation needs. I’ve also heavily researched the health issues that come and have requested my breeder for a health check of the parents as well. I’ve also researched good specialised vets for those specific health needs (eyes, bones etc.) The breeder himself is conducting a thorough background check before putting me on the puppy waitlist. I can expect the puppy by May or June or by late December. The mating is never forced and takes place only once so timelines sometimes vary. What else do I need to ensure?

2024.11.30 00:40 EvanTurningTheCorner Frustrated by buttons not working after updating Dolphin/MMJR2 on RG556
Hey folks,
Bought a new RG556 on 11:11, and have had it for a few days now. In some ways it's everything I hoped, but one thing is driving me up the wall.
So out of the box, most of the emulators etc worked great, but Gamecube games on Dolphin and Dolphin MMJR2 played poorly, if at all. The graphics were stuttering and some of the games would just crash. Following advice I've seen, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Dolphin apps (have tried both via playstore and from source). After doing so, the games look smooth and beautiful, no sttutters or lagging at all, but the buttons don't respond at all! If I toggle the onscreen controls, those work like they should but I have no interest in going that route. I want the physical buttons to work.
Now I know there are plenty of updates (new SD card, Gammasqueeze stick updates, etc etc) that I should do, but I don't yet have a new SD card and don't want to do all that before figuring out what this issue is, to avoid having to do everything twice.
If anyone can help, I would be so grateful. Thanks in advance.
