So I'm in Alberta and on a private Alberta Blue Cross plan. The first week of November I go to get my ozempic and no coverage..pardon? It had been covered up until now. Oh it needs to be specially approved now here is the form for your doctor. Nope denied. Why? Because tooany people are abusing the system in getting it for weight loss so it is only for type 2 and it specifically says that if you are able (ABLE!!!) to be on insulin you don't need it. My doctor wrote a huge letter that I have major insulin resistance from having an inflammatory disease and all the medications that I have tried and that ozempic has been a huge game changer and has greatly reduced my insulin need. Nope not good enough, but people that want to lose a few pounds can just have their doctor say they are prediabic can still get it! Are you fucking kidding me?! I get that it is a Type 2 drug but it has made such a difference for anyone with insulin resistance. So thanks celebrities who need to go from a size 2 to size 0 and convincing everyone they should do the same and taking away a drug that has actually been helping me manage my chronic illness.
Thank you for coming to my rant. I am looking at some other insurance companies that might still be cheaper than paying out of pocket for it, but still...

hey folks!! this is my first time posting here and i was hoping to find some kind of validation/advice because i've been feeling like a "fraud" lately.
i'm 19f and identify as queer, however, i've only had male partners and i feel like as much as i love men and women (and enbys), i've only ever been able to attract men and get into relationships with men. i would love to experience a loving relationship with women/femmes but i feel like a "fake/fraud" because none have ever wanted that kind of relationship with me. a lot of my queer friends have never had to deal with this and i'm worried i'm alone in this feeling. i hope this doesn't make me any less queer :( thank u in advance for anything <3

Not sure if this is allowed, but looking to have some players to play ranked with. Last 5 seasons I’ve made masters and I’m having such trouble this time. Every time I get half way through red 3 I drop back down all the way to bottom of 2. Seems like horrible randoms who pick terrible picks or dont utilize bans correctly. I can’t guarantee a win every game, but looking for at least competent or skilled players to help. I have every brawler almost rank 11 and a bunch of hyper charges. 2024.11.30 00:42 MysteriousAd3188 Is there any assistance for rent in salt lake?
I work full time in healthcare, usually 48-60 hr weeks. I just failed to work enough OT this last pay period to make enough for my rent. I’m only $400 shy, but I’m not sure how to make that before the 4th when rent is due. I’m on a wait list for Uber eats and Instacart, and I have nothing of value I can sell.
I’ve applied to many other jobs, have had a couple interviews and another one this coming week. I’m trying to make a change so this does not happen again in the future. I’ve posted offering to work side jobs, like cleaning, yard work, etc. but I don’t think I’ll make enough doing that within the short time frame I have.
I’m not sure what else to do, so I’m looking to see if maybe there’s some assistance I can find to make sure I don’t get evicted.
I do not want to do a payday loan, as I’m trying so hard to get my credit in better shape and not rack up more debt than I have. And I don’t have any family I can ask for help.
Any advice on other side gigs or jobs I can do will also be appreciated.

2024.11.30 00:42 kaitkaitkait91 My 11th gen PW screen flashes sometimes when I unlock it, I messaged CS & they want to “repair it”?
They asked me to ship it without case in a padded package and remove my password etc and they will “evaluate” it and send it back. It has a warranty until April 2025. I didn’t expect that to be the response. I offered to send them a video. The problem is it’s an intermittent issue and I’m concerned about shipping it there and back without it getting damaged during transit.
