2024.11.30 00:40 i_like_trench Hitscan is back ALTHOUGH it doesn't look like it... Here's why:
 | Hitscan is back even tho visually it doesn't seem that way. I have an example as proof from the newest gameplay trailer to prove that it's back. I went frame by frame from the gameplay trailer to notice how the guns work and look. The first 3 images are 3 frames of a player firing a shotgun. Shotguns are hitscan in fortnite and always have been, even in chapter 5. You can see in the second frame (when the shot was fired) that the shot connected instantly with the target. However in the third frame you can see the bullets follow behind and are much more noticeable. These bullets are simply for visual purposes only. They give the illusion of bullet travel time just to make the guns look nicer when firing shots, when in reality the shots have already landed on the target, in the 2nd frame. Now onto the assault rifle. You can see I also went frame by frame and the same thing with the shotgun is happening here. The bullet is hitting the wall INSTANTLY when fired on the second frame and then you can see the visual bullets follow on frame 3. So in conclusion the guns are now hitscan but it only looks projectile based due to how fortnite makes the guns look visually when in reality the shots hit instantly. submitted by i_like_trench to FortNiteBR [link] [comments] |

Hello. Hoping I could post. I'm not sure if my cat (7 months old) is being...kind of "agressive"? Towards me and family. In her first months it was almost unbearable...she didn't let me sleep much, always biting me during the night and such and well...I'm thinking that the way I treated her (pushing her ex.) those times are the result of how she's behaving now. I'm trying to let her have more freedom, play with her, she has lots of toys, give her enough food, etc. I know every cat is different, and cats have different ways of expressing how they feel, or when they're stressed.
But...right now I'm thinking maybe I'm responsible of how she's behaving right now, or that sometimes she doesn't let me grab her and she meows and tries to get away (maybe she simply doesn't like the way I do it but it's not always)
I'm open to any criticism...but don't scold me pls 😔

I'm 30/ Female, looking to purchase some kind of OTC treatment for scattered acne marks, I am unable to take a picture to post hear but they are dark and severe enough to stop me wearing sleeveless/ open back clothes. Very new to all the skincare stuff. Currently using tretinoin 0.025% but unable to do it daily. I live in US as of now but originally South Asian if that matters. Hoping to find some good and cost effective recommendations.

2024.11.30 00:40 rah66UnderTheRadar FPS in the dumpster after update
After the update, when I try to pick up and play the performance (which used to be at a constant 30-40fps) is now in the dumps with an average in the single digits. What's even stranger is when I first start the game and I'm in the main menu, things are fine, but once I load my game the frames slow to nothing, and even backing out to the menus has the frames remain at a dismal sub-10. I've done everything I can think of to try and fix, such as loading saves as far back as an hour, relaunching, dropping settings to minimum, reloading, relaunching, and validating files, and nothing works.
10/10 would update again :/
