Hola, quería hacer una consulta sobre las becas de la ORT, me inscribí para la beca para Analista Programador, ya hice mi reserva de cupo pagando lo que ellos me pidieron.
El tema es que leí que hacen hasta un 50% de descuento en la cuota, pero en qué tipo de contexto dan ese 50%? Ellos podrían otorgar más de un 50%?
Yo estoy ahorrando hace un montón, pero por ejemplo mis padres fallecieron y estoy con mi abuela, ella me da una mano y su jubilación no es mucha. Yo subí los papeles de su jubilación, etc. Pero quería saber si entre tanta tragedia es posible que me den ese 50% por esta situación?
Lo pregunto porque a la mayoría le dan el 25% y poca gente tiene el 50%, no sé si sería por excelencia académica.
Y si obvio debería llamar pero soy tan boluda que se me vino esta pregunta un viernes a las 10 de la noche :(

2024.11.30 01:57 YourFavLatina024 My asthma is weird. Anyone have the same experience?
I was diagnosed with asthma when I was around 5-6 years old, I have allergies to dust, pollen, mold, grass every season you name it. I also get exercise induced asthma As a child I would get bad asthma attacks but i would push through (I was shy to even tell someone I was having a hard time breathing) and it would just go away on its own.
I’m in my twenties now and I still get asthma attacks maybe even worse than when I was little. But it’s weird it’ll come and go without treatment, for example; I’ll be coughing and wheezing and then out of nowhere the wheezing and chest tightness will be gone for a few minutes and then the second I think like “wow nice it stopped” it comes back lol. It’s so weird!
I also went through this awful phase where I was using my inhaler every single day for MONTHS and I decided to not (don’t try this) and I suffered for like 2 days with the wheezing and discomfort I slept sitting up for a total of 4 hours but then my asthma got better and I didn’t have to use my inhaler until I got sick with upper respiratory a month later.
I also get this weird thing that If I’m sitting up I start to wheeze but the second I stand up it goes away?
Why does my asthma come and go? I don’t have any environmental changes nor diet changes. I do everything the same everyday. Idk just wondering if any of you guys have had the same experience. I’m just wondering what’s triggering it I guess lol!

It is the craziest thing to read some of the posts that my fellow players be posting . Some of y’all I feel bad for others I am excited for. I know there is many types of players on this subreddit but the people I am most intrigued by is the people that bet $5 and $10 a spin the ones that load $100’s per day I mean what is it that y’all do for work and is there any room for a intuitive soul on your team 🤣 ?
I mean don’t get me wrong there is no hate and if you got it that’s all that matters in the end but when I think about how I just be here loading my lil $2 or $5 packs when I can and those people are putting big dollars on it all I can do is just wish lol . I play for the thrill of course I love slots !! I also play with the hopes of being lucky one day off a small bet like others have free dollar whatever . But the way you get all them dead spins playing online I know it gotta be the same for them higher betters too , although I have seen different features pop off on certain games when betting higher that you wont see betting lower . But when I think about the cash y’all smoke up to play all I wanna do is say let me get a job 🤣
I have good job too I drive semi’s for a living and get paid decent but damn y’all blow me out the water when it comes to money so let your boy in the door anyone 🤣🤣🤣

2024.11.30 01:57 Key-Ad-8944 Suggestions for a reliable, low cost to own car, with decent performance
I plan to buy a used car in the near future, possibly tomorrow. The criteria I am looking for includes the following, at bott9om of post.
Looking online without having test driven anything, the car I found that I thought best met this criteria is a 2018+ Camry with sports trim. Consumer Reports repair surveys suggests Toyota/Lexus are in a class by themselves for reliability. Among Toyota sedans, I expect I would find Corollas or Yaris too boring to drive to be enjoyable, with their slow acceleration. Camrys seem a better choice. I prefer the more sporty styling of the generation beginning in 2018, particularly with SE/XSE trim. This generation has 203 to 301hp. There are some nice tech features, although it doesn't have everything I am looking for.
Does anyone have thoughts about what other makes + models, I might consider?
- Good Reliability Under Challenging Conditions -- For example, last week I broke a wheel on a pothole while driving to hiking spot in the desert. I may have delayed maintenance. I plan to drive on paved roads and do not get snow. I will leave the car ungaraged outside. The Acura TL that this car is replacing currently has a loud rattling sound prior to warming up which I suspect relates to timing belt tensioner, leaks oil, leaks coolant, torn upholstery from dog scratching, cracked dashboard, trunk only opens by pulling emergency cord, a good amount of undercarriage damage, front bumper was pulled out on one side before I screwed back in place, passenger window does not work correctly, paint worn down/flaking in many spots, panels between windows came off (painted over), scratches on windshield, etc. It still drives well after warming up, but I'm hoping the new car will hold up better.
- Low Cost To Own -- I am defining cost to own as sum of depreciation (difference between purchase price and price I sell in 10 years) + cost of maintenance/repairs + cost of fuel + cost of insurance + cost of registration. I plan to drive ~5000 miles per year and sell in ~10 years. I do not have a specific budget in mind.
- Sporty Sedan/Coupe -- My first choice is a sedan/coupe. I might settle for a hatchback or SUV, if it met other criteria better than sedan/coupe options. I like sporty type styling. For example, I'd much prefer Lotus Elise styling to Toyota Prius styling .
- Enjoyable To Drive, Can Accelerate -- I prefer performance oriented tuning, good handling, enough power to accelerate significantly. I'd prefer 200+ hp for a typical weight sedan. 300+ hp would be even better.
- Navigation and Other Tech -- I'd life to have a display that shows maps and navigation, preferably without a monthly fee. I prefer having maps on the car display to having to pull out my phone while driving. I am interested in other tech features. A way to switch between sport mode and fuel effciient mode would be great. I love being able to see stats about driving. I want XM radio. Any type of automated detection features are great. Backup camera is great. In general the more tech, the better.
